Something I wrote quite a few years ago.....thought to share with you all.....


I yearn not to feel,
Not to experience this pain
This emotion that breaks me,
And makes me whole once again

Sitting beside the memories
That cause me to go insane
I wish they would fall from me
Like clouds cry tears of rain....

Holding on to the time passed by -
But for how long
Will you keep playing the same songs?

Scared to let go? Aren't we all.
Scared to realise that this is a lie,
But then why does it seem so real?

I yearn not to feel...

Yes, Alhamdulillaah (Praise be to Allaah) - From when I wrote that poem I have gone through sooooo much but Alhamdulillah came out stronger on the other side....

Felt like adding to your poem

How do i disown these feelings

Why the songs say the same lyrics
when i click on that replay

I want to sing something new before the dawn hits my room

under the ceiling of these same old stars i wonder are they even real

can't even touch to check so far

In my room right now just me and my heart beat

I yearn not to feel

but my memories know how to chase me why the love doesn't know how to chase me

though i never played piano but i could it right now like crazy
