It doesn't really matter to me as long as we are still a "family oriented" board :D

About the domain name, I was thinking that islamicboard might be nice and simple for people to remember and type in. But I guess it is a bit confusing when we have 2 names - LI and Islamicboard.

And about attachment to other sites, in my opinion I think it's best to remain independent.

Btw - does this mean we now fine people for saying IB? :smile:

No way! I liked it how it was at first, forums.load-islam.com and load-islam.com/forums. It was ace like that. I never got why we changed it to this in the first place. IslamicBoard is so..unoriginal. Load-Islam is a cool name. :shade:

We need a vote. Somebody make a thread!
 
IslamicBoard is obviously better for SEO. Many more people will type in islamicboard than load-islam forums.

Althought, it wouldn't think SEO is a problem for this forum anymore.

Every forum should have a main website associated with it. It's not practical to simply have a forum sitting all by itself.

I actually agree with brother Muhammad, but I'm partially agreeing with brother Uthman as well...

One thing we could do is...

IslamicBoard.com be the site, and have the forum as IslamicBoard.com/forum as the link. What do you guys think about THAT? Sort of like Ummah Forum, I guess. I just think the forum itself should have a solid content available.

True. I think we have more than enough members now. I don't want this to become one of those forums where there is a new post every 2 seconds. That would be too busy!
