Wisest Member – @MuslimInshallah (Of course there's more)

...Wisdom does not speak with words.

Most active member "24/7 award" – @greenhill

I thought Greenhill was a postironic cranial hub designed for IB forum - this is a real person? When does he sleep?

IB’s Babysitter – @LaSorcia

The mods got this one. They do babysitting for adults who can't behave. That moment when you got a notification and its a PM telling you your post got deleted *looking at you bro Muhammad :D

Ah but can a poet flow it? They oft have to sit and think before they write... that's an anymans game... it's the ones who can just whimsically pick words out of the moment and take one on a journey who are real poets.

Most happiest/overly hyped user – @Search (I wouldn't say over hyped though)

happiness, is a state of mind - mashaAllah/ MAy Allah preserve it.

Assalaamu alaikum,

(smile) Every member who adds their voice, brings something that can stimulate us to thought and potential growth. (smile) A little sour brings out the flavour of food and makes it better. So can salt. So can sweetness. So can protein (umami).

I believe that every participant on this board has brought me benefit, in one form or another. (smile) Of course, there are those that I love more than others. But I ask myself: is it appropriate to categorize people in public? Where there is the possibility that some may feel hurt or neglected? Or that some may be tempted towards hubris?

(smile) I believe that Farhan started this thread with good intentions. He tries very hard to make this Forum an interesting and instructive place for people to share and learn. But as Muslims, we are supposed to avoid speaking about others in ways that they would not like (unless there is wrongdoing to others and injustice). So this thread causes me unease. And as Muslims, we are supposed to cultivate humility. So this thread causes me unease. (smile) Though Sister Herb's comment gave me a good laugh!

(smile) Anyway, thank you all for all that you have given to me. (smile) I consider you all as Gifts from my Wise and Loving Lord.

May Allah, the Subtle, Help us to be gentle with one another... for His Sake.

The most mysterious member - zAk

The wisest people are like you - they know how to avoid to make the extra work and how to make things the easiest ways. It´s not laziness at all. It´s intelligence.

MuslimInshallah, it's all in jest. :D

I've been spotted as the "greeter" of IB the last time, and honestly, the few replies I had from members, who took the time to say hi felt good. So I try welcome people. I normally welcome them first before rummaging through the headlines. Sometimes I get distracted by the notification. So I have my work cut out. ;D

And then I'm again noticed as being 247! It's the phone. I'm using the phone and in most cases, I'm in wifi zone. . I'm sorted. I'm reduced to my phone as I the rest of the family stakes their claim on every multimedia device there is.

Should I log out? ..hmmmm.. no.. such a hassle to have to keep logging in every time. .

Yes it is awkward, but heck! We are anonymous. But there are some pretty clever observable bit of course personal point of view.

I'd like to add a "generous member "category, I've not done my stats, but one of our mods, Muslim Woman is very generous with her likes, she does love give it. (where's the "You Rock!" icon?)

So what's the 3rd edition? Or is this the end?

:peace:

:jz: for your thoughts.

I was thinking this too at the start. When Kiro made the award types, originally there were more negative themed ones. I removed about 2-3 of them at the end :).

But I ask myself: is it appropriate to categorize people in public?

It might not be appropriate if message hurts somebody but if intention is to say something kind and sweet about others, then meaning was good.

And give others a good laugh or a big smile.
