How Did You Find Islamicboard.com?

Asalaamualaykum,

I found it by utter fluke - I was actually "Googling" (That has become an official verb now) something else

I was searching for something when I stumbled here, was afraid this was some messed up 'ya know' forum (Pardon me I'm from Indonesia, y'all know the situation), but then Allah gave me a pleasant surprise!, a gathering of insyallah the Ahlu Sunnah Wa al-Jamaah!.

Pray to Allah for me brothers and sisters! (And pray to Allah for me so that Allah might bless me with a beautiful, Sholeha, and intelligent wife!) Hehe.
 
Hmm don't know how this old thread showing up.

I don't remember much. I was nerd studying like anything.Only use of computer I knew was to play games mainly chess.:embarrass whenever I had some free time other than studies I would play games.
My sister would ask me random urdu words meaning sitting infront of computer screen.Those were days when you have one computer for all the family members no individual laptops.I was doing my assignments so I told her meaning of that word and then she asked me another urdu word meaning.I got frustrated becoz I don't like someone disturbing me while I am studying. I told her why don't u Google it. She said noo it's against the rule of the game I can't Google it.lol like asking your sister is ok but googling is not ok.
One day I was standing beside her I got curious what the heck is she doing.She said it's a good forum but I was not interested due to my poor english.She said there is a urdu section as well.I was like ok.I joined it and alhumdulillah I was blessed with good friends here.
 
I think I was googling something this morning and a thread came up as a result so I am here lol

Can you tell where Urdu forum is and how to engage, I'm not able to use this properly
 
I haven't used chatgpt yet.I am curious to know what did you searched on that what is the best forum something like this ?
 
I was going through Google searching Islamic stuff and reached this forum.
