imran naizer got 160 something with 120balls but that was on their final game besides they weren't gonna come in the super8 australia beat bangledeash
 
im so confused......

guys in the super 8 chart it shows that bangladesh have played 2 countries already.....but when? i thought saturdays aus vs bang match was bangladesh's 1st! who else have they played, & when?
 
some1 explain to ur little sister here pls...i dnt understand how the super 8 works fully, & its driving me crazy cos i cnt keep in track !!!

so basically...does every country play against all other 7 countries? or six countries? cos i cnt seem to understand it from the scedule chart.

also in the super 8, as far as i can see...bang have only played 1 game..againts AUS and AUS won. but why does the chart show they've played 2 and lost?

does anyone have a explanation here? cos everyone ive asked is thinking the same, and confusing me more......

From each group... 2 teams have qualified for super 8...

Incase of group B its Srilanka and Bangladesh..

 Since these two teams have already played against each other in group stage....They need not compete each other once again in Super 8 stage....

We include that particular group match as one of the match in the Super 8...Thus Incase of bangladesh their result against srilanka is also considered....

so currently in super 8s
Bangladesh have PLAYED 2 WON 0 LOST 2

This is the case for all other teams qualified for Super 8

So After the group matches... in the Super 8s....

Each team plays against all other 6 teams.. ie except their group mate..since they have already played against the group mate in the group stage..

It's funny to see so many votes for Bangladesh, come on people, be realistic. The poll is about who will win the worldcup, the WORLD CUP! not asking who you support. :thumbs_do

But I don't Ireland {N/Ireland} has won anything :hmm:

But I live in England and there also BAAAAAAD :okay:

But I know they win so many times just shows you that AUSTRALIA are good at what they do and that's CRICKET...

well...:rollseyes .....why not? :rollseyes ...do u remember (or maybe you didnt watch it:rollseyes ) ..they did beat them at the 'warm up' matches 4 the world cup. ...oh did i say bangladesh beat NZ in 'a' tournament? :D ..anythings possible..look at pakistan..one of the best teams...how comes they are not in the super 8....and India...:rollseyes

the answer to that is yes! why not...everyone in super 8 has a 'chance' but how they perform on that day matters ... :rollseyes

bangladesh is still young to all this....whereas all the other countries like NZ & AUS and ENG is full of experienced players...and the most important thing is majority of B'desh players are 22 and under...all they other countries- majority
players are ove 27 ! and have many years of experience in playing in super 8 and above!

so give bangladesh a break! :raging: (>>>>dnt worry not too much...lol)

also even if bdesh dnt win, im proud of them. why? cos this (being in super8) is an achievement in its self :thumbs_up ..they've got yrs to go to show their talent...:D
