السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته



1. A lady sat next to the taxi driver while all the seats were empty in the back -


She’s the wife of the taxi driver.


2. A man with a long beard walked past a masjid while the people were praying, and he didn’t enter to pray -


He had prayed in another masjid where they pray immediately after the adhan.


3. You sit next to someone and say salam, but they didn’t reply back -


Easy, they didn’t hear you.


Most of the time, we only see part of the picture, so imagine the rest of the picture in a positive way in order to not wrong others.


Think good about the people and you will be at ease.


One of the Salaf said: "If I see someone with alcohol dripping from his beard, then I’ll say perhaps it spilled on him.


Always give excuses for others and think good about them, and say perhaps he has an excuse that we don’t know.


If still in doubt, go up to them as a brother/sister and clarify the matter before saying anything else.

Always remember to think positive of others - whenever you are in doubt - go with the positive.

Ie. if you see a brother with a long beard being angry - or shouting - don't assume "argh, such bad manners" always assume good!

I'd much rather have a brother come up to me and advice me, than cursing and shaming me saying "argh, no wonder the Ummah is in ruins!"

We should never judge our brothers and sisters, we rarely ever know the context of that situation or indeed what they are going through or have been through in their lives - Allah will conceal our faults if we conceal the faults of others.
