If you are not OK with Polygamy (polygany) you are a bad Muslimah

Rasulullah forbade Ali to take another wife. So, was Rasulullah a bad Muslim?.

:)

First of all, this thread is about Muslimahs.

So your example doesn't apply! Also he :saws: had very specific reasons for doing so, reasons which others don't have.

It's really not for me to decide?

For example a lot more people have multiple wives when you consider divorce.

This is my third wife... but two completely different attitudes.

Strange which one is considered normal.

...thread title, well it really is not for me to decide lol

Well it's a general question, we are not going to individually judge people.

Like hating sunnahs is kufr.

Polygamy is permissible but not obligated. A wife can ask her husband to not take another wife, and it does not make her become bad Muslimah, as long as she does not urge to change the general rule of polygamy from halal into haram.

Bro, it's better if you do not judge our sisters like this.

Bro I am not judging, I have no opinion. I am discussing!

Lol you could debate that for a thousand years probably.. Longer.

And I'm not qualified to even give a ruling lol.

But generally, the world is what you make it.

You could grow a beard and it would not be good enough for some people.

You could pray and still offend people.

Share food with them or enter there houses and still offend people.

...only ignorance is bliss.

It ends with dodging cracks in the pavement if you let it, if its benicial or not.. You have to ask someone else.

If I follow anything it is for the acceptance of Allah swt, and Allah swt has need of nobody.

(To be fair I am always sceptical)

Yes, why does she choose not to support her poor husband if the poor guy wants another wife?

Poor husband? Why hers husband is poor? Poor as no enough money (or did you mean by this word something else)? How could poor husband support financially two wives?

I understand that caring wife thinks kind of matters and wants to save his poor husband not to make too much work for supporting two households. It´s expensive at these days, you know.

;)

I didn't mean financially poor. I was just sympathizing with him.

If the husband wants another wife, and can support her and he knows he can be fair, then what right does the wife have to stop him? She should support and help him instead!

It is a right given by Allah. We cannot question it. It was practiced by the Sahabah and the Messenger peace be upon him. It is very dangerous to reject it.

Unfortunately many Muslims that are influenced by western ideology and feminist ideology get very confused in this topic.

Why do you think that any wife would to be against of it?

And same to you. I have been the second wife. ;D
Yes but the majority says otherwise, I never denied that there are some wonderful Muslimahs who are fine with it! May Allah bless them.

But many nowadays are influenced by feminism etc and are against it.
