If someone says what the hell, words like hell yes or hell no does that make them a disbeliever or statement of kufr. if you get obsecene words in your mind and you smile thinking of the words but thinking the words in different contents does that make you a disbeliever.

Well, the way you become a disbeliever is if you become an atheist or agnostic. If you believe in Allah and you believe Mohammed was an actual prophet, and you've appropriately said so in shahada form while believing it, then that takes care of that question.

As a separate issue, should Muslims use profanity? No. Do some Muslims use profanity? Again, they shouldn't, but it happens. Does that disqualify them from being Muslims? No- and as some might cheekily put it, hell no for emphasis.

Some Muslims behave badly at times, or behave correctly with less consistency than they should, without forfeiting their Muslim identity. It's not ideal, but sometimes it works that way. It's as simple as that, and I don't know of any reason to reject this basic premise.

Why do you think everything makes one a disbeliever? You do not become a disbeliever unless you say or believe something that contradicts Islam and goes against the fundamental beliefs of tawheed. Hell is a normal word, if we used to tell others about hellfire does that mean we'll become disbelievers for saying hell? it's just a word describing a place. People do use it in a "cuss" kind of a way. It's inappropriate for Muslim to use such a language but it does not make one a disbeliever.
