I'm a music addict. Please help

Listen to the Quraan and how pure the words are,keep doing it till your heart lusts for Quraan and not music. Keep struggling for the sake of Allaah, that you want please Allaah and not displease him. Once you get use to the Quraan music will be the past , lost and gone forever like it never existed for you, untill you hate it. InshaAllaah

I love music too but I lisonen to muslim music or the Quran. The Quran is best.

A bit of Sudais, abu bakr shatry and mahir al muqaliy and Mishary al Afsy is all I need to keep away from music ;D sometimes we turn to music cos the lyrics describe exactly how we are feeling. :hmm:

“Music grows hypocrisy in the heart just as water causes the crops to grow.” [Bayhaqi]
