Subhanallah, SST was amazing today, mashallah, hes really going for it?
And bro zAk, who wants free airline tickets?

I dont think it is cheaper in ramadhan. For one thing, it will cost about £650-£800 for the ticket, another £500 for the hotel, about £300 on food and other expenses and if you want to bring anything back.......
The shops in makkah/madinah really hike up prices during ramadhan and hajj, thats when they make most of their money, so in that sense, $1990 is not a lot of money.

i was just thinking about those years, from mid 90's to early 2000, how SS and SAS were awesome together in taraweh, they were the rocks of makkah, just hearing the taraweeh in those years are amazing, the difference of recitations mashallah

yes definitely, they still are awesome and i hope they stay a while longer. SAS had a breathtaking voice when he was in his late 20s/early 30s. Now he has a more mature tone, but SS is still as sharp as ever, mashallah

You can see Saudi Prince Turki al-Faisal on the left with the white scarf, Sheikh Khalifa al-Thani from Bahrain is in the middle and Sheikh Abdur-Rahman al-Sudais is on the right. That pic was taken on the 11th June 2004 at the London Muslim Centre, Whitechapel
