yes when i first heard SST, he was totally amazing and took my breath away. he was a mixture of SAS and SS. he had SS deep voice and SAS type of tune. mashallah he and SS and SAS were great that year. it was good to hear and see SST leading last ten days and the last day he recited so well mashallah, he took some pressure of SS and SAS coz they were leading tahajjud as well
wasalam

when my bro, dad, and cuz went they said that SAS and SS led all or most tahajjud and they even bought a video of SS and SAS doing tahajjud, and mashallah SS recited sooooo wicked!!!!!
it is an awesome tahajjud video

i don't know sis, people like SS are not ones to give out info about their private life, but allahu alam
SS was sure a bit emotional in the last 10 days

he led everyday.
and for last ten nights taraweeh him and sheikh sudais alternated while sheikh saleh prayed each night.
but both sheikh shuraim n sudais then led tahajjud prayers...

salam
mashallah you can read my mine so accurately
yes either SS or SAS had to miss a day in the last 10 days to accomodate SST who led everyday of last 10 days
wasalam

SST leading isha :shade:

Surah Burooj :thumbs_up
divided in two rakahs....

n guess wat, MST, looks like SST read ur post, he got tht taraweeh tune a bit in the first rakah :D

:sl:
Before I didn't like SST's recitation that much but after listening to this salah, I was like WOWWWWWW, it was awesome:happy: I really like his style now:happy:

Assalamu alaikum

he did dua for the Students[tullabaa n taalibaat]

how come SST prayed for rain?? does he usually pray for students? and what students were they?

Me!

Now come on.. obviously he's gonna pray for his number ONE fan? :coolious:

I have exams round the corner!! :X :X :X

You lot make dua for me too please. :)

mst - Just because Sheikh Salih al Talib was leading all 5 prayers didn't mean he would give the khutbah.. I say this because he was leading all 5 when I was there (:coolious:) and out of no where, Sheikh Usama Khayyat came and gave the khutbah. :-\:-\:-\

Don't they always pray for rain in every khutba dua? like 99.99999% of the times? :?

Oh yea, and I forgot to add.. todays isha was exceptionally beautifully relaxing masha'Allah ..
