am not saying it is bad or anything, but it is a massive change, he use to have a lighter and sweet tune before, and i still like his tune

I love the salaam (tasleemataan) of ash-Shaykh Salaah al-Budayr! No-one can beat it... except ash-Shaykh Sa'ood ash-Shuraym (because he changes his nearly every year)!

mashallah SS has such a nice and top salam, as does SB, but SAS has his unique and trademark salam which he never changes

Sheikh Budayr sounds unwell. Probably a sore throat. In which case someone else should lead. Right then, Sheikh Juhany is going to get a right piece of my mind.

Erm.. I forgot what he recited in the 1st raka'ah.. but in the second he recited Surah al Qadr

Well...AH was telling me that when he spoke to Shaykh Shuraim on Friday after Jumma he appeared to be suffering from a cold and sore throat - may allah make him better soon inshallah:brother: .

Allhumdolillah I met Shaykh Saleh Talib y/day briefly but he was in a hurry so could not chat with him (next time inshallah:) ).

Have arranged to meet Shaykh Shuraim on Thursday but he very very busy these days and appearing difficult to meet him (oh no maybe they know I am terrorising zAk!!!!) Inshallah if allah wills I will meet him.:happy:

Oh and SMS did a talk after Isha today (I only found out after:heated: :heated: )

unfortunately i missed isha.......SMS seems to be leading isha lately.....ahwell....been ages since i listened to SS....and if he's ill may Allah grant him a speedy recovery...Ameen.........

who led fajr today in makkah?
what did i tell you all? as soon as i saw SS and heard how he was speaking and reciting i knew he wasn't well, they way his face looked at the end of khutbah, on rabbana atina fi dunya and subhana rabbika rabbil izzati amma yasifun, he was in some sort of discomfort.
may allah grant him a speedy recovery and grant him good health

erm... yea.. Sheikh Salih al Talib hasn't given a khutbah for some time..
How long ago did Sheikh Khayyat and Sheikh Salih bin Humaid give one?
