he never was imam of masjid ul Haram. n i thinks he was arrested but remember this year he was leading in his masjid again praying just about the same things ie- hes still leading and all that

Why was he arrested in the first place though?

Ash-Shaykh as-Sudays was fired up today masha-Allah. He talked against the so-called war against terrorism, zionism, the invasions, etc.

He's leading salaah now. Soorah al-a'laa and al-ghaashiyah.
