That dua was around 1987 or 1988...of course its unclear. :p I mean even some of the Haram'ain stuff from the 80s isn't always clear. hehe

Allah knows best who'll lead tomorrow. :p

Most likely Sheikh Sudais though, for the reason given by our dear Sheikh Sudais stalker...*coughs* I mean given by our dear sister amani. :D

Masha-Allah, ash-shaykh as-Sudays declaring his (and our) love for Rasoolullah SallAllaahu 'alayhi wa Sallam.

Just wondering, though, is continuous rhyming in the khutbah sunnah? I just feel a little uneasy by it; wAllaahu a'lam.

LoL its nice, no? And it shows a very high use of Arabic rhetoric Language :brother:

:sl:

Yes, bro Khaldun, you're definitely right about the high use of Arabic rhetoric language. Ash-shaykh as-Sudays is well-known for that.

I suppose it's to do with personal taste. Personally, I prefer ash-Shaykh ash-Shuraym's tilaawah and khuTbah, anytime, masha-Allah. His arabic is more natural, in my opinion.

Salaat al-Jumu'ah has begun now.

Inshallah you are all well. Shaykh Sudais was mashallah brilliant today top khutba too!

Here is one of the earliest recordings of shaykh shuraim (bit of background noise). The year 1406 hijri.....enjoy.:) (Source: An old looking tape from AH put onto computer!!!!)
