Is that even possible? Surah al 'asr....Mistake.....I find that really hard to swallow...
 
yes, he has say :

1. Waal’asri
2. Inna al-insana lafee khusrin
6. Illa allatheena amanoo wa’amiloo alssalihati falahum ajrun ghayru mamnoonin
7. Fama yukaththibuka ba’du bialddeeni
8. Alaysa Allahu bi-ahkami alhakimeena

instead of :

1. Waal’asri
2. Inna al-insana lafee khusrin
3. Illa allatheena amanoo wa’amiloo alssalihati watawasaw bialhaqqi watawasaw bialssabri

wow....I hope I don't make that kind of mistakes when [if] I lead taraweeh this year...May Allah help us all :)

Allah says in soorat az-zumar (39):

23. Allahu nazzala ahsana alhadeethi kitaban mutashabihan mathaniya[...]

(Translation : )
23. Allah has sent down the best statement, a Book (this Quran), its parts resembling each other in goodness and truth, oft-repeated

PS. Arabic is-Upon 1st taraweeh [Sounds better in arabic ;D

The Sheikh Shuraim is from when he was Imam in Riyadh. :)
 
all the recitations for suud shuraim from Islamway is when he was young, very rare recitations
 
The ones from this site are pretty rare too..some...

Also, can sum1 tell me when was the year that SS(HA) once stood up 2 the government and got suspended?

not sure but i guess it was about darul tuheed intercon's land.

man my m8 came back from umrah...he started his sunnat of fajr salah in madinah and he told me that he was reciting surah qiyamah... the iqamah went off and shaykh salah al budair started salah. Even he started praying surah qiyamah....The guy next to my m8 understood arabic so he was crying in salaah after salaah my m8 talked to the guy who was crying and asked him if he culd get to meet shaykh, so because they were very close to budair...they met him...and talked to him...and accompanied him till the car park.. and in the end Shaykh told my friend 'ya akhi aduwwi lakum'. He also went to see shaykh juhny...but culdnt meet him and was told that he has gone to haram to practise for taraweeh. So u neva know this years taraweeh mite b the same as last year....:)

Subhanallah...Oh well...I have brother AS ;) lol jk :p

Anyways...I hope they go bak 2 the classics [SAS+SS(HA)]

PS. Can brother Taymullah re-post that recitation of Surah Qaaf that he once posted....Dunno which...But had a reallly beautiful opener.
