This reminds me of when my mum first went to Hajj, and she heard a couple of people say after various salaats, "That's Sheikh Shuraim", "That's Sheikh Sudais", etc, and she couldn't understand how they knew who was leading every prayer, and thought that they may either be related to the imams, or know their wives, or have a contact who knows them, as they seemed to recognise their voices as you do that of a relative. This was in the day when we didn't have the internet, and even some time after we did, we had no idea that salaat were broadcast from the haramain. And when I first came across haramainrecordings, I too thought they had such contacts in Masjid Al Haraam or knew the imams in some way.

So I can totally relate to that. :embarrass

^Most definitely sounds like Sheikh Ali Mulla.. I don't know the Madeenah muathinoon that well, but I know some of the new ones imitate Sheikh Ali Mulla
