I Was Just About To Post The Adhan. I Got A Text Message Earlier From Makkah Saying That The Adhan Was Different Today And I Logged On To Youtube To Find It And It Was A Bit Different As The Muadhin Sheikh Naif Saleh Fayda Added A Bit On To Each Line Of The Call To Prayer.
 
Millions and millions of Hujjaj are now heading towards Makkah for Hajj


And proclaim to the people the Hajj [pilgrimage]; they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel; they will come from every distant pass -
That they may witness benefits for themselves and mention the name of Allah on known days over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals. So eat of them and feed the miserable and poor.
Then let them end their untidiness and fulfill their vows and perform Tawaf around the ancient House." [22:27-29]

A family member has been informed from someone that teaches in Masjid al Nabawi, that Sheikh Hudhaifi has been "retired" permanently "for his own protection".

Allahu a3lam. I'm hoping that this isn't true. If anyone can confirm this (or conversely can confirm it as not being correct) please let us know.

After Fajr Was The Changing Of The Kiswa

Shaykh Farooq Hadhrawi Just Gave The Adhan After The Khutba Which Had A Strong Meaning Behind What Was Said Where The Salaats Were Combined

If You Listen To The Madinah Adhan.... Im Sure He Imitated A Few Muadhins In That One Adhan.. Sheikh Naif, Majid Hakeem, Ali Mullah And Esam Bukhari.

Last Friday, Sheikh Salih Aal Talib was replaced as Khateeb as Sheikh Shuraim was scheduled to do it, but as we know he led Istisqaa` and in shaa` Allah He will also do 'Eid al-Adha.

Sheikh Sa'ood Ibraheem Ash Shuraim Led The EID Salaat. It Would Be Very Great To Be Able To Get A Recording Of The EID Takbeer From Makkah Too. Sheikh Shuraim After A Long Period Has Lead The EID Salaat And Also If Im Not Mistaken, He Led The EID Salaat Before With Ihram Too. May Allah Let Us Spend The Next EIDs To Come In Saudi Arabia.

I can't get to the Madinah page from the link provided, but from the title of the link and googling, it seems the imam in the file is Sheikh Abdul Aziz Ibn Saleh from Masjid al Nabawy. If you google his name as spelt, there are some youtube videos of him leading Salaatul Jumu'ah and Salaatul Eid in 1405 Hijri. Others may have more info.

Also something I meant to ask, the imam that leads Salaatul Eid in Makkah on Eid ul Adha day, wearing ihraam, is most likely to be on hajj? If so, do they come to Makkah straight from Muzdalifah, or from Mina, and then go back to do the stoning, or will already have done it but not had time for halaq or qasr and coming out if ihraam? Just curious, if anybody knows. Just thought there might be a reason, as Sheikh Shuraim led in ihraam once before, as I think, did Sheikh Aal Taalib.

^I think they come directly from Muzdalifah using a helicopter. They wouldn't have enough time after Ishraq to stone the Jamarah and come to the Haram.

Sheikh Abdul Aziz Ibn Saleh sounds much like Shaikh Husain Aal-Shaikh.
