Dont worry guys, I found it out. It is the Eid salah from 2000 by Shaikh Subbayl. Check it out, he had a really good voice back then:brother:


p.s Was Shaikh Md Ayyoub imam of Quba. If he was, is he currently still leading there???

the video i posted, it shows SS walking to the leading spot and SST on his mobile phone
he then puts it in his pocket and handshakes the other sheikhs
this was in ramadhan 2003
they year he made his taraweeh debut

here is a cool recitation of SS
notice the way he says allahu akbar and how the muadhin says it after him
by the way what are the names of all the current muadhins of haram of makkah?

Yes brother, I myself was shocked to find out it was Shaikh Subbayl in the video . But trust me it is him, hear the khutbah, you'll notice it's his voice and also, the voice-over (usually deep voiced) says it was Shaikh Subbayl after the khutbah is finished. You have to admit, he had a marvellous voice back in the day:coolious: The current voice is sharp (as I remember someone else using the word sharp to describe Shaikh Subbayl's voice previously in this forum)

I have a video that features Shaikh Huzaifi and Khulaify in the last day of taraweeh at Makkah in year ???? Inshallah I shall post it in the exchange links section soon :)

Al also, there was a green website (I think it's changed now) which had some videos of khulaify, Sudais and Jabir; I think it was called alnawada?:-\ ?:-\ ?

sorry to disappoint you all, but it is a video of taraweeh and eid 1994
you can see SAS back then who recited so beautifully and looks really young, you can also see SS in the first saff, looks young too
i'll try and get some short clips on my phone and then i'll post inshallah
