Living in a country like England is a huge test from Allah. If we adhere to the sunnah of our prophet in a western influenced country, allah will bless us further than those who live in islamic countries.

I totally forgot about isha ..cos I've not been watching for the past week (was in France) so now when I just sat down on the laptop, I heard SST reciting (I didn't have saudi tc on nor my CD's) ..it was just out of no where! and I looked at the time and said SST is deffo leading isha and he is!!! :omg: :omg: :wub:

..and in addition to that, since Ive 'known' SST, it's the first time I have heard him recite these ayaat and I have always hoped he'd read them some day! :love: :love: :love:

Can anyone clarify if Sheikh Saud ash Shuraim is a judge or was a judge and in what capacity.

Sheikh Shuraim was a judge. The he took a break to become a Doctor (not a medical one :p ) he basically got his doctrate. The I beleive he is back to being a judge? AS confirmation? :zip:

sheikh sudais is the principal and teacher at umm al qura, he also has a doctor degree
sheikh shuraim is the judge of high court of makkah
