i thought sheikh saleh was back to his old tune, man i wish he kept his old tune, i really don't enjoy his current tune
i noticed that Sheikh Shuraim changed his tune in surah fatihah ayah 'gayreel magdubi'

yeah, i love that taraweeh tune!!! current is not that bad, but not better than the one before :)

i just think that sheikh saleh tune now is too plain and his old tune was mashallah very different and unique compared to SAS and SS, his old tune was as if he has a bit of deepness of SS and tune of SAS
he was a mix of both

wow, alot of rumours going around. probably because he is, i hope so :) . why not have 3 imams for makkah (sst,ss,sas), Madinah have 5!

Anyways, I prayed in Riyadh Jamea Masjid where Shaykh Mufti Abdul Aziz Al Shaykh is the Imam - he was awesome - did an awesome khutba!

Yup SST led in 1424 I remember on the 20th ramadhan he started and me and a few friends were on the top floor so we couldn't see the imams and then he came on and we were like is that SS or SST and my friend was like nooooooooo its SS but he's got a cold ;D ;D ;D ;D ........and Im saying nooooo its SST!

Ah them were the days.........

Yeah...sheikh Taalib led taraweeh in 1424. And that taraweeh tune is top. :thumbs_up And sheikh Shuraim's old style of surah Fatiha is top too. :thumbs_up I miss the surah Fatiha one a lott. :'(

SST current tune is a bit plain his old tune had a nice mixture of SS and SAS

when i first heard him, it was after taraweeh and my bro and cousin came back from saudi at that time
my bro got a casseate out of his bag and said listen to this, i was totally amazed when i heard SST for the first time, i was thinking this guy is world class where was he all this time?

^^Bro MST when you hear SST live he is even better mashallah - I think his recitation is beautiful very mellow and peaceful to listen to! Ahmed your right I think all the Imams are unique!
