Assalamo-alaikum-wrahmatullahi-wabrakatu

Awwwwwwwwwwwww......I missed you too wAkky! (Honest):?

Allhumdolillah.......this year was amazing got to meet so many people - but the highlight was sitting with Shaykh Al Mohasainy after trawee - (we prayed at the mosque and I have never seen/heard an Imam cry so much - wallahi he was amazing the whole mosque was in tears!)

Mashallah, I asked him about the duaa (for which he was banned) and he said that I fear no one but Allah swt - subhanallah! Apparently he has been banned from giving public lectures etc!

Yes the Imams have offices now mashallah - its not difficult to get in you just need to know about them :okay: Once you know its easy (cuz not many people know).

Did ifatri with SST loads of times - we used to sit where the Muadhins do the adhan above the trawee spot! The first time was when I was going to Asr (as I use Babul Malik Abdul Aziz gate which the imams use) and I met SST on the way and he told me to come there after Magrib! This was the first time I ever did iftari with them and it was an experience - the imams were so humble that they used to ask for some cleaners (workers in the haram) to be sent up to sit and eat with us!

However, the best and most memorable moment was when I was again going for iftari and SAS was sat in the room in one corner reading the quran so I sat there watching him (it was like 15 minutes before iftari) and when he had finished I asked him what he was reading and he said smiling getting ready for tonights trawee!!!!!

When we used to go to SS office after trawee we all used to sit around and have qawah and chai and just chat - he used to get a lot of visitors but would always make time and give little talks on various aspects!

I was also lucky enough to listen to a talk given straight after Asr by Shaykh Hussain ale Shaykh - it was brilliant and was about why earthquakes happen and he qouted numerous ahadith and then made an appeal for people to give money to Pakistan - he was very emotional at one point he broke down and was in tears!

Just some experiences I thought would share with you guys - there are many more which I will share inshallah.

So...............has anyone heard Shaykh Nabeel Rafai - I would defintely recommend you listen to him!!!

Masalaam and EID MABROOK 2 everyone

I think he just sed :tht doesn't means he leaves from there, coz they need to go to the parking lot, near the bab abdul aziz[near the palace]. which is quite the opp from the safa marwa.

:w:

Bro wAkky wallahi I missed you man - infact it was strange as I remembered you a lot in Makkah and Medina and I conveyed your salams to the Prophet of Allah (Upon whom be peace) at the Raudha!

Anyway, I use the term "OFFICE" loosely it is infact a simple room (with no faxes etc) and you will have seen them but just not noticed - if anyone wants the exact location for SAS/SS rooms then PM me and I will explain to you where they are.

Sis Ameeratul Layl - yes the Imams use Bab Malik Abdul Aziz which is just round the corner from Bab Malik Fahd. And zAk is always joking so dont take his comments too seriously!

Gotta go...........

Firstly EID MABROOK to everyone!

All the imams exit via Bab Malik Abdul Aziz and then leave via a small gate about 300 yards from the main gate into the Grand Mosque. However, when they go to the office they still have to come back round to the small gate to get home!

Mashallah I also met Shaykh Abdullah Wahad Al Johany - he looks soooooooooo different from the TV! Mashallah got a lot of noor on his face - didnt get to talk to him as always had guards round him! Also met Shaykh Salah Budair but only got to shake hands with him!

Another memory that sticks is that where the imams pray trawee in front they have a fence put around (you may have seen it) to stop people from walking in and also that is where the salatul janazah takes place. Anyway, when the first imam finishes his 10 rakats (e.g. johany/Budair) the imams (SS/SAS) used to come in on like the 9th rakat and wait around in that area (so as soon as I finished the 10th rakat everyone would watch them) ! I saw SS/SAS several times - they would come in have a carpet laid down for them and would sit on the floor waiting to come on! They would always have their bisht off and would get up and whilst walking to the gate to get to the trawee spot would put on their bisht and then go on and start trawee!

Also after trawee salah was finished the imams would be escorted out by the guards but when SST used to leave he used to leave on his own - he would take off his bisht and walk around and not many people recognised him - although a few people did. That way I used to walk out with him to the gate on several occassions - a lot of people got to meet him that way too. I asked why the guards didnt escort him - he said I dont really need it - mashallah!..........it was top for me cuz we would talk on the way out!:okay:

Another thing I observed was that SST's favourite red scarf is a make called BRUJIYA - most of the Imams wear this red headscarf!

Also SS was really into his white headscarf this year I jokingly asked SST and he said smiling Allahu Alam - maybe more people will buy the White Scarf!!!!!!!!:giggling: :giggling: :giggling: :giggling: :giggling: :giggling: :giggling: :giggling: :giggling: :giggling: :giggling: :giggling: :giggling: :giggling:

Oh yeah brother MB - the old Shaykh from what I have gathered is connected to the Al Haramain Sharafain committee and is someone high up - I dont think he was an Imam - I tried to ask him but I dont think he understood me:eek:

A touching update once again brother.

It seems that u hardly get a chance to talk to the immaams as they are quite busy.
Just one question....have you ever been inside their palaces? If so, describe them.

Oh....and do keep us updated. More stories brother.*waiits patiently*

Allah ma3ak
