loq...well at least sheikh Sudais and sheikh Shuraim are still leading. Every other night, but they're still there. Better than nothing. Which in the future will happen.. Although its weird to think of Makkah Taraweeh without the Sheikh Sudais/Shuraim team. When you think about Taraweeh from Makkah you automatically think of Sheikhs Sudais and Shuraim. :'(

Wait til after Ramadan to kick the king...no violence in this beautiful month. Even Sheikh Sudais and Sheikh Shuraim won't support our behavior. ;)

I can't wait for tomorrow. I liiiike sheikh Juhany's reading. :p

Sheikh Taalib led Fajr. Surah Ibrahim! (Although, whenever I think of Surah Ibrahim, I think Sheikh Shuraim cuz he reads this part sooooo much. :wub: )

ok, Ive realised why these threads get so big so quick...

1. I think zAk had a good idea, about the links in your signatures, at least for ramadhan InshaAllah. People ask for the link at least twice for every salah, and in more than one post :-\

2. Please keep the predictions to yourselves now InshaAllah, I think it's obvious now who is going to be leading taraweeh, no more surprises.

3. Please do not post single posts consisting of just smileys, or one worded posts, rest assured they will be deleted.

4. If you post something, and you realise you missed something out, no need to post again, edit the previous post. The Edit button is there for that reason, USE IT! InshaAllah :brother:

I doubt he is Ali Jaber, although would be nice if it was.

And mashAllah well said brother Far7an this thread is sometimes getting unneccesary big, so inshAllah think twice before posting brothers and sisters.

As for the comment about furniture, the "golden era" of sudais and shuraim seems to be coming to an end, I mean if they just took out both of them same year, then it might be to hard on our poor hearts and to obvious, this way they prepare us for the big shock, the day when one of them or both are withdrawn and end up in "the hall of fame" of previous imams, such as ali jaber etc.

Another note, have you noticed how good the shuyukhs Quran is this year, probably becuase they got a day off, anyways may Allah keep it that way.

Are you implying that Shuraim and Sudais will be leaving??? No! that cannot happen. They arent as old as Shaikh Subbayl. Is this a rumor or is this like partly confirmed? Seriuolsy, they cant leave :'(

I think its becuse they are getting too old for taraweeh?? I dont believe it and i refuse to believe that they are getting too old for it.

I dont think its true. They probably taking it easy this year.

And I doubt that sheikh is Sheikh Jabir. Sheikh Jabir is still leading in a masjid in Jeddah according to some people we know. :) Allahu a'lam.

just watching 1st day's taraweeh, listening to the shiekh who read first, like his voice :) his surah fatihah has a touch of sudais mashallah...and voice is like SST's

he doesnt sound nervous subhanallah

His Surat al Fatiha has a touch of both Sheikh Sudais and Sheikh Shuraim ..
