Jazakallahkhair for the pics bro,do you know the name of that mosque? and any recordings of Sh.Sudais from there?

I talked to our mosque community president about inviting Sh.Shuraim to our mosque,he said any of the Imams of Makkah or Madinah are not going come to U.S. anymore, he said he knows Sh.Husayn Ale Shaykh and lived in his house for a day,maybe Sh.Ale Shaykh could come because he knows him. iam so mad cause they wont come over here anymore. salams

I thought you were in the UK. lol. I don't think its a personal choice that they're not comin, but more like something that has been imposed on them. As far as I knew, it was only Sheikh Shuraim and Sudais who can't come to the US. Sheikh Thubayty has been to New York within the last few years.

:sl: ye sis i live in U.S. i know why they can't come im just mad lol,sh.husayn ale shaikh is going to AUS next month,iam not sure exactly when,a friend from aus told me,the imams cant come to U.S. after 911. and for some purposes. :sl:

Salams, the Masjid is in Riyadh where Sheikh Sudais was born and is called Masjid Al Sheikh Al Allama Abdur Razzaq Al Afifi

Does anybody have the azaan from Madinah? The standard one...I don't know who by, by its in a high pitched voice, subhanallah that is such a cool azaan!

this masjid is in makkah, not far from the haram. its masjid bin baz and is only something like 10 years old.

:sl: sis the masjid is in riyadh not makkah as the bro said, thats where sh.sudais led before masjid-ul-haram,thats what i heard before too,that he led in riyadh.:sl:

trust me its in makkah, infact from the site its itself...

Built in 1419, Masjid Ibn Baaz (may Allaah have Mercy on Imaam Ibn Baaz) lies on the western edge of the 'Azeeziyyah District. It looks very high-tech from the outside, however it is very old-fashioned as far as the activities that go on inside. Throughout the year, many scholars who stop through Makkah give lessons in Masjid Ibn Baaz. Shaykh Rabee' Al-Madkhalee used to give regular lessons here, and Shaykh 'Abdul-'Azeez Aalish-Shaykh gives lessons here when he is in Makkah.

Yeah i think your right sis but then that means that isn't the mosque where Sheikh Sudais previously lead because that Masjid is in Riyadh. I think that bro Shuraimfan4lyf must have got the wrong pictures
