wow..two new Imams at Makkah i think
Sheikh Johany and someone new person led Maghrib too

I'm not sure though..according to bro Najiullah's blog its a Sheikh Mahirb

So will this be a full time thing?

btw Sheikh Johany led Fajr too (Surah Hujurat)

Yh that could be true i mean Mashallah Shekh Subayyil is 82 :)

btw it felt cool and funny listening to Sheikh Mahir's and Sheikh Johanys 'stoow..ai'tadelo' :)
 
Wow. it was just last week when i was talkin to this person and said it would be good if Sheikh Juhany replaces Sheikh Subayyil, as the latter isn't coming on much. And Juhany made it this soon. lol. Sheikh Mahir too? now this should be interesting. Will Sheikh Mahir go to madinah for taraweeh? or lead in makkah? And will SB Come to makkah now? hmmmmmmm lets wait and watch.

Sheikh Khayyat isn't that old.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves.
shaykh Juhany is in Makkah so he led. He nornally lives in Madinah but I think he must have been in the area and was called up by one of the others (shaykh Talib, shaykh Shuraim). Because he has led in the Haram before, he can go forward. Same for shaykh Mahir. Not any Joe can go and lead in the Haram. But it's nice to see a young face leading. I remember him from uni. Used to come every now and then. When we were there he was sort of senior TA style. Used to come and do some of the classes if the other shuyukh were busy.
I dont know if its a full-time post, might have to call him and find out.

nah sheikh khayyat is only in his 50s. around the same age as sheikh bin humaid. though he looks older than than he is.
hope sheikh subayyil is ok though :(

its possible shiekh khayyat and skiekh subbayl have retired as they havent read for a veryyy long time, i hope shiek Mahir stays mashallah his voice is amazing

bro's does n e 1 have the recordings of magrib n isha from makkah for the 12th of july, im so happy there are two new imams!!
