Heeey, did anyone notice that man.. in the thobe and the scarf ... with a umm plate and some smoke coming out of it going round the tawaaf area but close to the jamaa'ah? :? What was it? :?

And would anyone have idea how long Sheikh Sudais took from his first takbir till the witr salam? :?

lobaan lol thats what they call it in pak/india , its kind of a perfume :)incense
i am really surprized , i never thought its also in arab culture.

Yeps, lobaan is part of Arab culture as well. If I'm right, they call it bakhoor. Its like wood sticks, which you light with a lighter, and the smoke gives off a perfume like smell. Its a custom for them to put that in Masjid al Nabawi as far as I've heard. :) I think they do it every night during Ramadan.

lol they dont run because of perfume
they run to kiss the black stone and also to touch multazim, most of the times they run before imaam says second salam
