is Abdullah Saood part of the royal family? he's meeting all these sheikh's im getting jealous :cry: i want to have dinner with them :cry: remember when saying the "i want to have dinner with them" use it a whiny voice :D :D

but really is he part of the Family or is he just a close friend of all these sheikh's in which he can introduce me too once i get to saudi in the summer :D :D :D

well shiekh ayuub is not arab ( in madina ) so I think if Allah accepts u u will become imam !!!

to be an imam of haramain is a great blessing of Allah...
if u have talent,and it is ur ambition to become an imam,continue praying to Allah, because it is Allah not the king who will accept u as an imam,and there is no discrimination btw an arab or a non arab in eyes of Allah...
the point is, u should possess perfect arabic accent and good tajweed along with a good style.

the best encouragement i got, i always had the dream of leading in the haram but im not arab. I was just hoping the king would change his policy :D :D :D

but then you made be realize it's allah who choses not the king, may allah reward you :amin:

What do you guys mean by "it's not the king but it's Allah who picks imams of Kabaa"? How does that happen?

Whoever becomes imaam is at the approval of the king, but ultimately Allah has willed for the imaams to be imaams.

Sheikh Ayoob is the former imaam of the Masjid al Nabawi, during the 1980s. Although it is said that he's originally Burmese, I think he was born and raised in Madeenah. I believe he now leads at Masjid al Quba. Allahu a'lam.

Sheikh Mu'ayqily has only led in Masjid al Nabawi in Ramadan for Taraweeh (and Tahajjud in the last nights) for the last two years. He is not a permanent Masjid al Nabawi imaam. The rest of the year he leads in another Masjid in Madeenah. Maybe brother Abdullah Saood knows where.

Sheikh Shuraim is not one for photos, he really doesnt like it. Ive seen him on countless occasions pushing people away who try and take pictures of him - and then the guards kick in (literally)!
He takes the opinion that photography is not allowed. I think sheikh Salih Talib is similar.

true, but i my opinion Sheikh Sudais isn't very strict regarding photos, when he came to blackburn a few years ago he stopped for the camera.
 
yeah sheikh sudais is islam's celeberity, always smiling for the cameras :lol:

P.S Bro Sudais1 when i said Sheikh Mahir Hamad Al Muyaqili is an imam of Medinah i meant during taraweeh only, sorry for the misunderstanding, he leads salat in another mosque in Madinah, not sure which one though.

ive been missing sheikh shuraims fajr too
and sheikhs sudais and subiyil have been missing too.
Maybe they did Hajj
 
i hope there back soon especially sudais, im living off past ramadans and slahs for the time being :D :D also::
