They also talked about Syed Abul Hasan Ali Nadvi (rahmatullahialahi) and also about Shaykh Zakarriya Khandelwi (rahmatullahialahi) who Shaykh Hudaifee said used to be a personal friend and a great alim - subhanallah.
That is surprising, Mashallah:)

thats so cool. yh what language did they all speak? :D

last week this time i was praying behind sheikh sudais
something so funny happened just before the salah.
i was praying in the mataaf area towards the side of bab malik abdul aziz. and i was at the edge of the saff, like two people and the walkway was there. infront of me was about 5 women in their 50-60s. and you know how they wear the scarves with half their hair showing..it was just like that. so just before adhan like 7 mins or so sheikh sudais comes down the steps and mashaAllah hes got his gaze lowered and is walking looking on the ground, these women were like 'yay imam sudais hey. yey sudais hey, sudais hey, deyko yey sudais. imame kaba hey. and i felt soooooooooo sorry for him he looked embarassed. they kept saying it and really loud and obvious and were just staring at him. it was so funny

oh and the week before hajj between maghrib and isha he'd stay in the hateem and as people were doing tawaaf theyd throw things at him :'( :( like slippers, shawls anything!

:ooh: :ooh: Why on earth would they do that? Thats just unacceptable behaviour, especially in the Haram too.

I have seen people throwing their prayer mats or their scarves/shawls on the ghilaaf of ka'ba. Maybe to get it's Barakat:D or Maybe to get some Itr off it. :p. Weird.
