Where is Sheikh Muhsin al-Qasim. He doesnt usually lead prayers besides taraweeh and sometimes jummah. Masha'ALLAH a beautiful recitor.

I think he leads Salatul Zuhr (was leading when i was there) which is a real shame cause Mashallah he has a great voice

yea,Sh.Abdul-Mohsin Mohammed Al-Qasim,has a beautiful voice,masha'Allah him and Sh.Abdul Bary Awad At-Thubayti are awesome when they lead together,i hope it happens this ramadan,insha'Allah. I cant believe either that he doesnt lead any salats,also i cant believe Sh.Thubayti didnt lead taraweeh.

yeah Sh.Thubayti's recitation is just too great masha'Allah. I want him to lead 1428 Madinah Taraweeh,insha'Allah. Also I want Sh.Al-Qasim to make the Khatm-ul-Quran dua,that would be great,and Sh.Shuraim to make the khatm dua in Makkah,Insha'Allah,i cant wait till ramadan. if this happens,it would be the best ramadan for me,lol. May Allah make it happen,ameen.

Here is a recitation of Sh.Thubayti when he lead that yr in Makkah. its sura fatiha,he cries in it,its soo emotional ,subhan'Allah. a brother gave it to me. The Quality is great,but there are some sounds in the middle.

^ Yep, you said it...you the MAN Bro! That'd be awesome if he does though...but most likely...if Shk. Hudhaify isn't doing the Dua..it'll probably be Shk. Hussayn al-Shaykh.

One confusing thing was that, I think 2 years ago Shk. Hussayn al-Shaykh done the Khutum Dua in Madinah and the very next year Shk. Hudhaify done the Khutum Dua. Confusing eh?

And JazakAllaah Khayr for the Shk. Thubaity recitation.

Yh Sheikh Hussain Al Sheikh did do the Khatmul Quran dua and Sheikh Huthaify did it last year...maybe he wasn't feeling too well (Allahu A'lam)

Anyways Sheikh Huthaify gave a small talk before the dua about Tahajjud and Ramadhan etc

sheikh Shuraim has only done the khatam dua once. It was 1422 (2001) in the haram. He gives the honour to sheikh Sudais due to the fact that sheikh Sudais has been in the haram the longest. Also, sheikh Shuraim says he fears for his sincerity when he makes dua in salah when people are behind him so he avoids it as much as possible. I know this because i have some friends who are his students and they asked him.
It would be nice though.

i think they should let all the imams lead in taraweeh lyk 4 salaats each or something as there are 5 of them...

Yh they could do that but Sheikh Subayyil, Sheikh Humaid and Sheikh Khayyat are quite old now so i think it would be hard for them to lead taraweeh
