Imso excited! Sheikh Kalbaani might be coming to South Africa at the end of the month. Wow what a year! three imams in oneyear! Subhanallah!

Shaykh Saalih al Taalib and Shaykh Hussain aal as Shaykh for Jumma Salah today. :shade:

Shaykh Talib made dua for the Hujjaj, for their protection and safe return. End of Surah Baqarah in Salaah, beautiful recitation masha'Allah.

Shaykh aal as Shaykh read Surah 'Asr and Surah Kawthar. Madeenah is so busy masha'Allah.

Is sheikh kalbani an official imam or is only there for taraweeh because he never leads any salah.

I'm pretty sure that according to the arabnews site, Shaykh Kalbaani, was appointed as Imaam of Masjid al Haram, so not just for Taraweeh, and Allah knows best.

However since Ramadhaan, Shaykh has been travelling many places, he was here in the UK, then went to India, then to the UAE, and will be travelling to South Africa soon, that maybe why he hasn't led in Masjid al Haram since Ramadhaan.

Sheikh Muhammad as Subayyal is Imaam also, hasn't led in a while, but hasn't actually been removed from the position so he can go and lead. That's what I knew, maybe it changed.

Managed to find out, the Shaykh is reciting Surah Qiyaamah bi-Riwaayah as-Soosi 'an Abi-'Amr. Not sure in which riwaayah he recites Surah Mu'minoon; anyone?

Also, Shaykh al-Kalbaani lahu zawjatayn mashaAllaah.
