So what do you guys think of the umbrellas they put up in Masjid Nabwi? I think they're good but sometimes its OK to be a little hot and sweaty, inshallah Allah will reward you when you sacrifice your desires and get hot and uncomfortable in order to pray. But oh well, the umbrellas are still good I guess.
And Juhanee is leading amazing fajr salats as normal. His June 28th Fajr of Al-Ahzab was awesome.

:sl:

I duno what I think of regarding the umbrellas. I never actually sat in the heat myself, always was in a area that's shaded. I don't really see it as a bad move, given the severity of the heat in Saudi Arabia...

Anyways, Sheikh Ghamdi leadin Isha and ending Surah Nahl.... He reads soo awesome.

Agreed about Sheikh Juhany,. I'm soo glad he's back, altho I really was expecting Sheikh Shuraim. I miss Sheikh Shuraim's Fajr. :(

^Yeah, same with me about the umbrellas but I think they look :shade:

Yeah right, Sheikh Ghamidi made khatam of Sura Nahl today :D

I was just telling Raudha the other day that Sheikh Shuraim hasn't led Fajr in aggggeeees. Well, it seems like that anyway and Sheikh Aal Talib isn't back for Isha yet. I miss him too :(

:w:

Sheikh Ghazzawi for Maghrib. Made a small mistake but the recitation was beautiful.

Sheikh Ghamidi for Isha. I like when he reads in the tune he used today. :shade:

So... about a year ago, we bought a "full Quraan" CD pack by Sheikh Maahir Mu'ayqali and we didn't listen to the whole thing. So yesterday, I decided to listen to one of the CD's and I found this beauty : http://www.divshare.com/download/7815136-457

I hope you enjoy it as much as Raudha and I did. I hope the link works and please let me know if it doesn't work and please tell us if you like the recitation or not :D

:w:

^ MaashaaAllaah...not really much of a Sh. Mu'aqaly 'fan', but that Soorah is my favourite soorah by the Shaykh.

Shaykh Hussain aal as-Shaykh & Shaykh 'Abd al-Rahmaan al-Sudays hafidhamullah for the Jumma' Khutbaah & Salaah today! :shade:

Shaykh al-Sudays read end of Surah Dhaariyaat in first Rak'aat, and Surah 'Asr in the second. Shaykh aal as -Shaykh read end of Surah Infitaar and end of Surah Burooj. Both were awesome recitations, masha'Allah! :D
