The Only Reason Why I Joined This Forum Was Because Of This Thread And The Only Reason Why Im Writing Whatever I Remember From The Journey Is Because I Remember Last Year Brother Ahmed Or Another Poster Wrote Of His Experience And Many Of The Regular Posters Including Me Were Eager To Read More Due To Having Excessive Love For The Haramain.

The Little Which I May Have Done, I Have Done With Other Intentions Such As Performing Salaah At The Front Near The Imam Being The First Few Rows Is Better That Praying Anywhere Else Towards The Back.

And Speaking And Sitting With The Imams Purely For The Intention Of Having Love For The People Who Are Very Close To Allah And Who Are Muttaqi And God Fearing As Inshallah We Can Benefit From What Little They Say To Us Or Just Benefit By Sitting In Their Company As They Are Chosen People Who Allah Has Appointed To Be Imams Of The Haramain Whos Voices And Lectures Echo Throughout The World.

Iv Been Into All This From Such A Young Age Of 4-6 Years Of Age Thats Why I Have So Many Audio Tapes And CDs And Different Experiences. There Was A Time When I Thought I Was The Only Person Who Probably Was Into Following The Imams ETC But Then I Came To Know Of This Forum And Mazameer Then I Was Happy That Theres So Many Others Who Also Are There.

I Have To Say Though That Meeting The Best Person And Saying And Sending Salaams And Salutations To The Beloved Prophet Of Allah And Ameerul Mumineens Was One Of The Best Moments As Well As Going To Both Grave Yards For Burial And Helping The Families Of Many Deceased After Jumping In One Of The Ambulances Which Go The Shariah Qabrastaan And The Other Which Goes To Jannatul Mualla. Janazah Salaah Sometimes Is Performed Again At The Qabrastaan And After Burial You Shake The Hands Of The Family And They Say Jazzakallahu Khairan And Thank You For Assisting Them. A Deceased Cant Enter Haram Unless Paper Work Is Shown At The Front By The Family Which Confirms A Few Things. The Imams Of The Haramains Would Wait For The Deceased To Go Out The Haram Before Walking Out As This Is I Think A Sunnah Which Also I Have Heard.

Many South Africans Would Come And Visit The Grave Of Maulana Yunus Patel Rahmatullahi Alayh. And One Of The Main Guards Whos Name Is Sheikh Ismaaeel Has Visited South Africa Before And He Is Very Close To The Imams. He Wears Usually A White Scarf And Gives Attar At The Front In Makkah From A Big Bottle. Also Theres A Boy Called Abdur Rahman Who Also Is There For Crowd Control At Fajr, Maghrib And Esha Who You Can Talk To. Ladies Used To Actually Come When Hardly Any People Were By Sheikh Sudais And He Used To Take The Letters From Those Women And Read A Bit There. Ladies/Men Would Also Wait For Sheikh Budair And Sheikh Maher.

I Spoke To The Imams And Muadhins In Arabic Except For Sheikh Basnawi. I Did Try And Test If The Imams Would Speak English But Then I Understood Straight Away That Its Better To Speak In Arabic With Them. The Rows For Maghrib By Imam In Masjid Nabawi Are Made At 5:30 Whilst In Makkah From Asr. However Fajr And The Other Salaahs Rows Are Made In Makkah 30Minz Before The Salaah And Many Women Would Take Advantage Of This By Coming By The Kaabah And Being Anxious And Going To Kiss The Hajre Aswad And Touching Multazm And The Door Of The Kaabah Whilst The Guards Try Extremely Hard To Get The Women Out Of The Area As Its Time For Salaah Preperations.

4 Things You May Want To Keep In Mind For Next Time

1) They Clean By The Multazam/Hajre Aswad At 8:30am Which Makes It Easier For The Men And Women But Stand Near The Red Ribbon/Rope Of The Cleaners.
2) The Night Of Eid, Either Perform Maghrib/Esha On The Green Carpet Known As The Rawdah Or Try And Enter The Haram Through The Front Which Is Extremely Hard As They Block Exits However If You Really Have The Desire To Try And Get In Easily Enter From Imams Door And Get In When The Janazahs Are Coming Out As They Remove People From The Time Salaah Finishes Because All The Mussalis Are Told To Leave The Masjid.
3) The Doors For EID Open At 2:15am - 2:30am But Dont Enter From The Normal Entrance, Enter From The Back For Example King Fahd And Walk Straight To The Front Or The Rawdah Or Wherever You Want To Sit, Not Many Know This As Many Wait By Baab Jibraaeel And The Other Usual Gates.
4) Wait A Bit After Eid Salaah Is Finished, So You Can Easily Stand At The Prophets Sallalahu Alayhi Wasalams Grave With Ease Although The Night Before Eid You Could Be Standing There Having Noone Around You.

Im Not A Person Who Loves Shopping But I Recommend Going To The Wholesalers/Suppliers Or Warehouse Where It Is Quiet And Get Whatever You Want There Which Saves Time And Saves You From Going Shopping Where Theres Such A Big Rush. Theres A Few Warehouses Behind The Golden Palace In Madinah Whilst Others Are Just Further Away.

7) Does Anyone Know Whats On Each Side Across Of The Kaabah

Which sides?

May Allah Guide Us All On To The Straight Path And We Do Shukr That We Have Some Little Knowlege Although We Should Seek More

Ameen!

P.S. I Just Seen And It Just Happened After Asr When Walking Out The Masjid That Beside Me Was A Doctor Who Many Watch Throughout The World. Guess Who That It?

Was it Shaikh Sudais?

:jz: for sharing your experiences and recordings. :ma: you were fortunate to meet the imams and speak with them and walk with them. Many people living in Makkah/Madinah itself or in nearby cities do not get that chance. Those living far away have more love of the Haramain than some of those living nearby.

A part of Ayah 17 of Surah Al-Israa is missing in all the recordings of the 14th night Taraweeh from Masjid Al-Haraam. Is there a live recording available anywhere?

He Comes With A Boy For Salaatul Taraweeh And He Was The Boy That Sheikh Hussayn On The Day When He Read Durood In The Taraweeh Salaah On The Last Day, Was Told To Come Foward To The Front Row And Get Out The Quran And Follow The Recitation So If He Made A Mistake He Can Take It Out. Sheikh Hussayn Gets Picked Up By A Driver Which I Noticed Too On The Last Day Of Ramadhan As He Was Also There On The Night Of Eid So I Was Able To Walk With Him Too To His Vehicle.

Were you there in the second Saff praying Taraweeh a little to right side of the imam on 30th night of Ramadhan in Masjid An-Nabawi?

:sl:

Does anyone have a recording of Sura Fatiha by Sheikh Abdul Muhsin al Qaasim where he recites it in one breath?

Jazakumullah Khair

What Ayaats Or Arabic Scriptures Are Written Around The Cloth Of The Kaabah?

The Doctor Was Zakir Naik

The Uploading Of Recordings Has 10 Nights Live Yet Which Is Taking Some Time.

That Wasnt Me For Sure, Because I Made Sure That Camera Didnt Get Me LOL. Theres A Guy Called 'Redha' Whos Always There For Some Salaah Who Prays In The Second Row. There Was Some Pakistani And Indian Guys That Used To Come There Too.

Sheikh Recited Surah Fatiha In One Breath A Few Times In Witr But TBH I Feel He Didnt Do It Much This Year And Plus Many Of Us Who Learn The Quran With All The Mads (Tajweed Rule Of Stretching Letters) Really Loved His Recitation As Its Not Normal For An Imam Of The Haram To Recite With The All The Mads.

So Much Construction Work Is Going To Happen By 2020, I Met A Friend Who Is Basically Going To Experiment Things Such As Solar Energy For The Haram. They Will Experiment On A Football Ground And Attend Meetings With Sheikh Sudais. He Mentioned What Kind Of Things Will Happen By 2020. He Is Also A Teacher At The Ummal Qurra University And His Brother Studied Under A Qari Who Is Indian In Makkah For 8 Years In All The Different Styles Of Recitation. Inshallah I Will Get His Recordings Soon As Its Beautiful When I Was Listening In The Ford Expedition 5.6 Litre Car Wich Fills Up With So Little Money Whereas Everywhere Else It Would Cost A Lot Of Money To Fill Up The Cars Tank.

To re-order the files, click on edit item and select edit meta data (change the information). Then rename the files (edit their titles) in English and for single digit numbers add a leading 0 such as 01, 02 etc...

Ex- Muezzin of Masjid Quba, Shaykh AbdulMajid Salama Awda Suraihi did an Awesome Adhan for Asr today. Who was Madina's Muezzin, Muballigh and Shaykh for Dhuhr?

Just checked my recording, in case it was any good, and it sounds like the live stream broke in the middle of the ayah, and the words "wa kafaa bi rabbika bi zhunoobi" are missing.

Inshaa'Allah you might find it on the net in a little while, as people return slowly from umrah and get time to upload their recordings. Not sure how many do that though.

Jazaakallah khayr for all the info being posted here especially brother Adam51210. Really interesting to read.

In Esha Adhan, He Copied Or The Adhan Was Imitating The Style Of Sheikh Faysal Abdul Malik Noman.

According To The Months Rota, Last Week Was Sheikh Abdul Majeed Suraihi And Sheikh Ayaadh Shukri
This Weeks Thursday Rota May Have Been Sheikh Abdul Majeed Suraihi And Sheikh Omar Sunbul Although It Was Stated That Sheikh Esam Bukhari And Sheikh Abdul Muttalib Najdi Were To Call Out The Adhan On Thursday (Today)

The Months Rota States That Abdul Rahman Kashukji And Sheikh Faisal Noman Will Call Out The Adhan For Jummah Whilst Sheikh Faysal Noman And Sheikh Saud Bukhari Call Out The Adhan For The Other Salaah

Allah Knows Best.

The Rota In Madinah Changes Slightly Through The Month.

I Have Been Looking For The Recording Of Sheikh Shuraim To Find That Ayaah. Please Help Me Find The Ramadhan Thread On Mazameer, I Was Searching Yesterday But Couldnt Find It Although I Used The Search Bar However Its Not Even In The Thread Which Has The Archive. Iv Checked Mazameers Recording, Iv Checked Youtube On Different Channels Videos, Searched Surah Israa In Arabic And All The Video And Audio Have That Missing.

By The Way Listen To The Iqamah Here:

Akhee, please share the Madina Rota? Shukrun.

I really like the way Shaykh Suraihi imitates the other Muezzin's styles. He does it so well. MashaAllah.

I checked all recordings from there as well but it seems they all have recorded from the radio/TV or internet. Couldn't find that night's live recording from inside Masjid Al-Haraam.

What Ayaats Or Arabic Scriptures Are Written Around The Cloth Of The Kaabah?
As you go round anti-clockwise in tawaaf, the band of embroidered calligraphy that goes all the way around the top part of the ka'bah contains the following passages from the Qur'an:

One side (the side before the door side) has Surah Aal Imraan, 3:95-97

3_95-1.png

3_96-1.png

3_97-1.png

Say: Allah speaks truth. So follow the religion of Abraham, the upright. He was not of the polytheists.
Indeed, the first House [of worship] established for mankind was that at Makkah - blessed and a guidance for the worlds.
In it are clear signs [such as] the standing place of Abraham. And whoever enters it shall be safe. And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House - for whoever is able to find thereto a way. But whoever disbelieves - then indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds.

____________________________________________________

Door side has Surah al Baqarah, 2:125 and 127, 128

2_125-1.png

2_127-1.png

2_129-1.png

And @ when We made the House a place of return for the people and a place of security. And take the standing place of Abraham a place of prayer. And We charged Abraham and Ishmael, [saying], "Purify My House for those who perform Tawaf and those who are staying for worship and those who bow and prostrate [in prayer]." And when Abraham and Ishmael were raising the foundations of the House, (Abraham prayed): Our Lord! Accept from us (this duty). Indeed You are the Hearing, the Knowing. Our Lord, and make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our descendants a Muslim nation [in submission] to You. And show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful. _______________________________________________________________________ Hateem/Hijr/Meezaab side Surah al-Baqarah, 2:197-199, part    The pilgrimage is (in) the well-known months, and whoever undertakes to to perform the pilgrimage therein (let him remember that) there is (to be) no lewdness nor abuse nor angry conversation on the pilgrimage. And whatsoever good you do Allah knows it. So make provision for yourselves (Hereafter); for the best provision is to ward off evil. Therefore keep your duty to Me, O men of understanding. There is no blame upon you for seeking bounty from your Lord [during Hajj]. But when you depart from 'Arafat, remember Allah at al-Mash'ar al-Haram. And remember Him, as He has guided you, for indeed, you were before that among those astray. Then depart from the place from where [all] the people depart and ask forgiveness of Allah... _______________________________________________________ Another side (the side opposite the door side) has Surah al-Hajj, 22:26-29     And when We designated for Abraham the site of the House, [saying], "Do not associate anything with Me and purify My House for those who perform Tawaf and those who stand [in prayer] and those who bow and prostrate. And proclaim to the people the Hajj [pilgrimage]; they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel; they will come from every distant pass - That they may witness benefits for themselves and mention the name of Allah on known days over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals. So eat of them and feed the miserable and poor. Then let them end their untidiness and fulfill their vows and perform Tawaf around the ancient House. ;

Jazakallah To The Poster Above For The Ayaats And Translation. I Couldnt Listen Live To The Whole Khutbah And Salaah Today However I Know That Sheikh Budair Got Emotional Continuing From His Emotional Dua For 'Shaam'. Imagine What His Reaction Is When Someone Tells Him Personal Accounts Of Living Life In Those Places. Has Anyone Got The Video Of The Announcement By Sheikh Hussayn After Maghrib - The Night Of Eid? The Day Of The Announcement I Was Talking To Sheikh Abdul Gaffar In The Room Of The Janazahs And He Quickly Went Back In To Adgust The Microphones For The Annoucment, His Brother Also Came And He Was Mentioning To Me Names Of Imams That Have Led Over His 33 Years Or So Doing Khidmah In Masjid Nabawi. Apparently You Can Get Recordings If You Ask The Technical Team For Recordings Over The Years - Id Love Them. Id Take A Hardrive And Take Every Recording They Have If I Could. Theres A Rota For Jummah Adhans In Makkah However I Havent Kept Up Or Took Note Of It Properly But Anyway Heres The Shawaal Rota For Masjid Nabawi Which Has Slightly Gone Off Track.

Inshallah, Very Shortly, A Translation Of Todays Friday Khutbah By The Imam And Khateeb Of Masjid Haram Will Be Made Available On This Post. The Imam And Khateeb Was Sheikh Osaama Khayaath.

FRIDAY KHUTBAH TRANSLATION IN ENGLISH: MP3 =

http://archive.org/details/EnglishKhutbahTranslationOfSheikhOsaamaKhayaathShawaal1433FromMasjid

After This Post I Need To Get Back Into A Spiritual Mode Again After Being Jet Lagged For A Couple Of Days As Many Advices Were Once Given By Sheikh Shuraim In 2001 During The 1st Khutbah In Shawaal And Here I Quote The Following Below: I Could Post The Whole Khutbah Which He Made As Each And Everything Which Was Said Is So Important And An Eye Opener. Sheikh Shuraims Khutbah Is Here For Those Who Want To Listen: CLICK HERE

Surely, days pass relentlessly like the movement of the clouds. Surely, in the change of day and night and the movement of the clouds there is a lesson to be learned. So of those whom have been given wisdom said: "A year is like a tree, its branches are like months, its limbs are like days, and its leaves are like the hours. The breaths are like the fruits on the tree. The fruits of whosoever obeyed Allah are sweet and blessed. And, The fruits of whosoever disobeys Allah are putrid and improvished. Surely, on the day of harvest it will be known that which is sweet and what which is putrid."

Know that hours pass quickly, unstopping and irreversible in their march towards finality of all affairs. They constantly draw us nearer to the Final Day and its precursory signs. A twenty or thirty year old can be asked about the days that he has lived and the nights that he has spent. He will remember them as if they were long distant memories that have passed much quicker than he could remember.

"Take advantage of five before five. Take advantage of your life before your death, health before illness, free time before becoming occupied, youth before old age and wealth before poverty." Reported by Al-Bayhaqi and Al-Hakim.

Time is a great commodity that should not be wasted. Taubah, doing good deeds, enjoining good, and forbidding evil are to occupy the days and nights of the believer. The days and nights are given to us as a lesson and a time to worship Him.

One of the Salaf (ra) saw a group of people at the end of Ramadan during the 'Eid festivities celebrating in a manner that was improper. He (ra) said:

"If their Siyam has been accepted (by Allah) they are not thanking Him for His acceptance. But, if their Siyam has not been accepted (by Allah) then they are not showing Him that they fear Him."

Such a type of people have corrupted the concept of al-'Eid by making it a time of no inhibitions and unrestraint. They forget the importance and merit of fasting the six days of Shawal (the month that immediately follows Ramadan). They forget the virtue of the last hours of the day of Jum'aa (Du'a is accepted in one of those hours). They forget the importance of the third or last part of the night (Allah Descends in the manner that befits His Majesty to the heaven of the earth and listens to the pleas of His slaves and answers them).

Is it true that the Prophet Isma'il (as) is buried in the hateem area? What is the significance of calling it Hijr Isma'il?
