The Only Reason Why I Joined This Forum Was Because Of This Thread And The Only Reason Why Im Writing Whatever I Remember From The Journey Is Because I Remember Last Year Brother Ahmed Or Another Poster Wrote Of His Experience And Many Of The Regular Posters Including Me Were Eager To Read More Due To Having Excessive Love For The Haramain.
The Little Which I May Have Done, I Have Done With Other Intentions Such As Performing Salaah At The Front Near The Imam Being The First Few Rows Is Better That Praying Anywhere Else Towards The Back.
And Speaking And Sitting With The Imams Purely For The Intention Of Having Love For The People Who Are Very Close To Allah And Who Are Muttaqi And God Fearing As Inshallah We Can Benefit From What Little They Say To Us Or Just Benefit By Sitting In Their Company As They Are Chosen People Who Allah Has Appointed To Be Imams Of The Haramain Whos Voices And Lectures Echo Throughout The World.
Iv Been Into All This From Such A Young Age Of 4-6 Years Of Age Thats Why I Have So Many Audio Tapes And CDs And Different Experiences. There Was A Time When I Thought I Was The Only Person Who Probably Was Into Following The Imams ETC But Then I Came To Know Of This Forum And Mazameer Then I Was Happy That Theres So Many Others Who Also Are There.
I Have To Say Though That Meeting The Best Person And Saying And Sending Salaams And Salutations To The Beloved Prophet Of Allah And Ameerul Mumineens Was One Of The Best Moments As Well As Going To Both Grave Yards For Burial And Helping The Families Of Many Deceased After Jumping In One Of The Ambulances Which Go The Shariah Qabrastaan And The Other Which Goes To Jannatul Mualla. Janazah Salaah Sometimes Is Performed Again At The Qabrastaan And After Burial You Shake The Hands Of The Family And They Say Jazzakallahu Khairan And Thank You For Assisting Them. A Deceased Cant Enter Haram Unless Paper Work Is Shown At The Front By The Family Which Confirms A Few Things. The Imams Of The Haramains Would Wait For The Deceased To Go Out The Haram Before Walking Out As This Is I Think A Sunnah Which Also I Have Heard.
Many South Africans Would Come And Visit The Grave Of Maulana Yunus Patel Rahmatullahi Alayh. And One Of The Main Guards Whos Name Is Sheikh Ismaaeel Has Visited South Africa Before And He Is Very Close To The Imams. He Wears Usually A White Scarf And Gives Attar At The Front In Makkah From A Big Bottle. Also Theres A Boy Called Abdur Rahman Who Also Is There For Crowd Control At Fajr, Maghrib And Esha Who You Can Talk To. Ladies Used To Actually Come When Hardly Any People Were By Sheikh Sudais And He Used To Take The Letters From Those Women And Read A Bit There. Ladies/Men Would Also Wait For Sheikh Budair And Sheikh Maher.
I Spoke To The Imams And Muadhins In Arabic Except For Sheikh Basnawi. I Did Try And Test If The Imams Would Speak English But Then I Understood Straight Away That Its Better To Speak In Arabic With Them. The Rows For Maghrib By Imam In Masjid Nabawi Are Made At 5:30 Whilst In Makkah From Asr. However Fajr And The Other Salaahs Rows Are Made In Makkah 30Minz Before The Salaah And Many Women Would Take Advantage Of This By Coming By The Kaabah And Being Anxious And Going To Kiss The Hajre Aswad And Touching Multazm And The Door Of The Kaabah Whilst The Guards Try Extremely Hard To Get The Women Out Of The Area As Its Time For Salaah Preperations.
4 Things You May Want To Keep In Mind For Next Time
1) They Clean By The Multazam/Hajre Aswad At 8:30am Which Makes It Easier For The Men And Women But Stand Near The Red Ribbon/Rope Of The Cleaners.
2) The Night Of Eid, Either Perform Maghrib/Esha On The Green Carpet Known As The Rawdah Or Try And Enter The Haram Through The Front Which Is Extremely Hard As They Block Exits However If You Really Have The Desire To Try And Get In Easily Enter From Imams Door And Get In When The Janazahs Are Coming Out As They Remove People From The Time Salaah Finishes Because All The Mussalis Are Told To Leave The Masjid.
3) The Doors For EID Open At 2:15am - 2:30am But Dont Enter From The Normal Entrance, Enter From The Back For Example King Fahd And Walk Straight To The Front Or The Rawdah Or Wherever You Want To Sit, Not Many Know This As Many Wait By Baab Jibraaeel And The Other Usual Gates.
4) Wait A Bit After Eid Salaah Is Finished, So You Can Easily Stand At The Prophets Sallalahu Alayhi Wasalams Grave With Ease Although The Night Before Eid You Could Be Standing There Having Noone Around You.
Im Not A Person Who Loves Shopping But I Recommend Going To The Wholesalers/Suppliers Or Warehouse Where It Is Quiet And Get Whatever You Want There Which Saves Time And Saves You From Going Shopping Where Theres Such A Big Rush. Theres A Few Warehouses Behind The Golden Palace In Madinah Whilst Others Are Just Further Away.
