Always one of my favourite verses. Alhamdulillah. But we are never thankful enough.

lionofallah:Why don’t we Smile? Why do we save our smiles when...

tumblr_n62qvddRpI1rhu2gao1_r1_500-1.jpg

lionofallah:
Why don’t we Smile?
Why do we save our smiles when our Role model Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) used to smile the most? We see that people who are religious tend to have serious faces , they hardly smile. I’ve heard people relating the incidents of lives of saints who didn’t smile their whole life. Let us change this concept. Ideal for us is the Life of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). Islam does not stop us from smiling in fact it encourages. It gives us reasons to
smile. So beautify your faces with a smile. The smallest distance between two people is smile.
What does it take to Smile?
We hardly have to move a muscle to smile but the effect a smile has is tremendous. It can win the hearts. It can take care of very tense situations. Smile begets smile. Smile, and the world will smile back at you. Smile at the nature and the nature will smile back at you. Smile is a good way to express your pleasure. Actions speak louder than words. How often you find it so hard to express your Love for some, your pleasure on some happening. A smile would do just the thing.

lionofallah:Question :What are description of the people of...

tumblr_mft5dodbpT1rhu2gao1_500-1.jpg

lionofallah:
Question :
What are description of the people of paradise and some of the delights they enjoy therein?
Answer :
The people of Paradise will enter in the most perfect and beautiful form, in the image of their father, Aadam (as), for there is no human form more perfect and beautiful than that of Aadam, whom Allah (swt) created very tall. He was as tall as a great palm tree, sixty cubits tall. Muslim reports from Abu Hurayrah (ra) that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said,-“Allah, Subhaanahu wa ta'aala, created Aadam in his own image, sixty cubits tall… everyone who enters Paradise will be in the image of Aadam, sixty cubits tall. People kept getting shorter and shorter after the time of Aadam.”[Saheeh Muslim, Kitaab al-Jannah]
Their external appearance will be in harmony, and their hearts will be as one. Their hearts and souls will be clean and pure. Muslim reports from Abu Hurayrah (ra) a hadith in which the Prophet describes people entering Paradise including a group whose light will be like the full moon. He (saw) said,-“Their form will be that of a single person, after the image of their father Aadam, sixty cubits tall.”-[Saheeh Muslim, Kitaab al-Jannah]
Another aspect of their beauty is that they will have no body hair, and will look as if their eyes are anointed with kohl. Each of them will enter Paradise aged thirty-three, the age of strength, vitality and youth. Ahmad and at-Tirmidhi report from Mu'aadh ibn Jabal that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said,-“The people of Paradise will enter Paradise hairless, looking as if their eyes are ringed with kohl, aged thirty three.”-[Saheeh al-Jaami’ 6/337, no. 7928]
As reported in the hadith narrated by Bukhaari and Muslim, from Abu Hurayrah (ra), the people of Paradise-“will not spit, blow their noses or excrete”.
The people of Paradise will not sleep. Jaabir ibn ‘Abdullaah and ‘Abdullaah ibn Abi Awfaa reported that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said,-“Sleep is the brother of death; the people of Paradise will not sleep”-[Silsilat al-Hadith as-Saheehah, 3/74, no. 1087, al-Kaamil of Ibn 'Adiyy, al-Hilyah of Abu Na'eem, Taareekh Isbahaan, by Abul-Sheikh]

lionofallah:
“Know that the life of this world is only play and amusement, a show and boasting among yourselves, a quest for greater riches and more children. Its similitude is that of vegetation that flourish after rain: the growth of which delights the tillers, then it withers and you see it turn yellow, soon it becomes dry and crumbles away. In the hereafter there will be either severe punishment or forgiveness from Allah and His good pleasure. The life of this world is nothing but an illusion.” Al-Quran [al-Hadiid - 57:20]
Man wastes his lifetime running after something which has no effect on anything except that he ruins his hereafter. A believer is he who believes that nothing can happen without the Will of Allahu ta'ala. Therefore, his objective becomes to gain Allah’s pleasure and not to run after this Dunya (World). No material possession can benefit or harm anyone if it is not desired by Allah.

lionofallah:
By virtue of being created as human beings, we will be tested. We will be thrown into countless trials, into situations that may arise unpleasant and awkward, and into times of difficulty when it seems as though there is little reason to hope.
Tests will come at us from every direction; events will test the very core of our character and the strength of our beliefs. And these are the tests we cannot afford to fail. And Allah, Glory be to Him, has not left us empty-handed.
Building our knowledge and our characters as Muslims is the only way

Verily, the dwellers of the Paradise, that Day, will be busy in joyful things.-

They and their spouses will be in pleasant shade, reclining on adorned thrones.-

They shall have fruits therein, and they shall have whatever they desire.-

And “Peace,” a word from a Merciful Lord.

lionofallah:
You owe the coffee to the Muslims - www.lionofAllah.com
Who doesn’t love coffee? Coffee fuels the modern world and we have the Muslims to thank for it. Before becoming the name of a chocolate latte, “Mocha” was a city in Yemen where coffee beans were first brewed into the beverage we depend on today. From there, the drink spread throughout the world, but its introduction to the West was difficult. The fear of “creeping sharia” is nothing new; there were calls to ban the “Muslim drink” in Europe. It wasn’t until 1600 that Pope Clement VIII allowed it upon tasting the “the bitter invention of Satan” for himself.
But the story doesn’t end there. Before coffee, the drink of Europe was beer. In fact, they would start their day with “beer soup” and continue to drink beer throughout the day. Their primary hangout was the tavern where people got together, got drunk, and passed out. But with the introduction of coffee, the hangout became the coffeehouse where people got together, got hyper, and talked… a lot. Instead of drunken rambling, now people were holding intelligent conversations. It was in the coffeehouse where people like Voltaire and Rousseau would discuss ideas that led to the Enlightenment of Europe. It was in the coffeehouse that the modern encyclopedia was born. Later, it was in the coffeehouse where Paul Revere and John Adams planned the American Revolution.
The coffeehouse pulled Europe out of the Dark Ages and into the Enlightenment. Today, we Muslims find ourselves coming out of our Dark Ages. We recently struggled out from under the heel of colonialism and are now trying to find our way through circumstances never experienced before, especially here in the West. We need venues like the coffeehouses of Europe where Muslims can get together, hold intelligent conversations, and come up with innovative ideas to help our communities overcome the unique challenges we face.

tumblr_mpoezgpVWc1rhu2gao1_500-1.jpg

Ramadan is less than a week away, whats our preparation for it? The blessed 30 days of Mercy from Allah (SWT) are on the way, how are we going to spend it? The Sahabas prepared for it 6 months in advance, whats our preparation? Are the list of Dua’s ready? The things to do list? How to productively spend each day?
Are we waiting for the eve of Ramadan to begin something of the sort? Let’s remind ourselves that this may be the last Ramadan for many of us so let’s spend it wisely and clear our logbooks and better our relationships with our Creator Insha'Allah.

tumblr_n59azv9NSK1rhu2gao1_500-1.jpg

lionofallah:
While you are reading this phrase in the different parts of the world, with different reasons millions of people have died already.
And if you were to ask these people minutes before their death, none of them might have known that they would die in the next few minutes.
Whereas you who’s reading this article or me who’s writing this article, we might be living our last few minutes in this world; that maybe these are our last minutes on the earth to repent and to be closer to Allah.
If not today, one day we all will certainly die. Me, you, people we know and people we love will also die. After 100 years from now, no one we know today will be on earth.
People wake up every morning making plans upon plans upon plans for their lives not including death.
Even though most of these plans might never occur, death will certainly occur.
Death is a door that all of us will have to enter, no age limits no racial discrimination, all same and equal, everyone created from one same and single matter.
So return to your Lord, with a heart full of repentance for that is better for you.

lionofallah:
Arrogance is a blameworthy characteristic which is the feature of Iblees and his cohorts in this world, those on whose hearts Allah has placed a seal.
The first one who showed arrogance towards Allah and His creation was the accursed Iblees, when Allah commanded him to prostrate to Adam and he refused and was arrogant, and said, “I am better than him (Adam), You created me from fire, and him You created from clay.”
