How can one insult such a Man? Disgusting!

The Prophet Muhammad taught love, kindness and compassion to his people, and was seen to be the most loving, kind, and compassionate of all of them. The Qur’an mentions his kind and gentle behavior in these words: “O Messenger of Allah! It is a great Mercy of Allah that you are gentle and kind towards them; for, had you been harsh and hard¬hearted, they would all have broken away from you” (Qur’an 3:159). There are many instances that show his kindness and gentleness, especially to the weak and the poor. Anas, his famous servant, said: “I served Allah’s Messenger for ten years and he never said to me, ‘Shame’ or ‘Why did you do such-and-such a thing?’ or ‘Why did you not do such-and-such a thing?’” (Bukhari, 2038).

While you are reading this phrase in the different parts of the world, with different reasons millions of people have died already.
And if you were to ask these people minutes before their death, none of them might have known that they would die in the next few minutes.
Whereas you who’s reading this article or me who’s writing this article, we might be living our last few minutes in this world; that maybe these are our last minutes on the earth to repent and to be closer to Allah.
If not today, one day we all will certainly die. Me, you, people we know and people we love will also die. After 100 years from now, no one we know today will be on earth.
People wake up every morning making plans upon plans upon plans for their lives not including death.
Even though most of these plans might never occur, death will certainly occur.
Death is a door that all of us will have to enter, no age limits no racial discrimination, all same and equal, everyone created from one same and single matter.
So return to your Lord, with a heart full of repentance for that is better for you.

tumblr_nf9yzfE0ch1rhu2gao1_500-1.jpg

Many of us, though we may have sincere and righteous intentions, have recently misplaced our ahklaq (i.e. we have lost our manners). Many of us (myself included) have forgotten the proper way to advise our fellow Muslims. When we advise our brothers and sisters if they are doing something incorrectly, we must remember to do it for the sake of Allah (SWT) with the best of intentions.
The believer looks for excuses, not blame for his brother. We want the best for our brothers and sisters and hence we advise them because we love them, not because we think we are better than them. For if we think we are better than them, then this is arrogance and pride, and arrogance and pride was the sin that got the rejected and accursed devil kicked out of paradise and damned. We should not think we are better than others. We need to humble ourselves and be thankful that we are in a position to advise others. We shouldn’t advise people harshly, rather we need to be gentle, yet firm.
The Messenger of Allah (saw) was the best of examples sent to mankind and he would be gentle with others. We have heard the hadith of the man who urinated in the masjid and the Prophet (SAW) handled the situation in the most eloquent of ways. Some of us nowadays, if a brother is praying without a turban or a “kufi” (head-covering) or his pants below his ankles in the masjid, we may berate him, but is this really the best way, will he continue coming to this masjid? There may be a time for harshness, but many of us are not in the situation to handle it as we are the laymen.

Akhis & Ukhtis,

[Narrated by al-Haakim, 2/399; al-Bayhaqi, 3/249.]

The Prophet (Peace be Upon Him) said:
“There is such an hour on Friday that if any Muslim makes Du’a in it, his Du’a will definitely be accepted. ”

[Bukhari]

tumblr_nd13ddPgZ01rhu2gao1_500-1.jpg

lionofallah:
By virtue of being created as human beings, we will be tested. We will be thrown into countless trials, into situations that may arise unpleasant and awkward, and into times of difficulty when it seems as though there is little reason to hope.
Tests will come at us from every direction; events will test the very core of our character and the strength of our beliefs. And these are the tests we cannot afford to fail. And Allah, Glory be to Him, has not left us empty-handed.
Building our knowledge and our characters as Muslims is the only way.
A “beautiful word” in this verse refers to the Islamic statement of belief: la illaha ill Allah (there is no being worthy of worship except Allah). And the verse goes on to refer to a beautiful tree, which illustrates the character of a believer.
According to this verse, a believer is one whose Iman, or faith, is unwavering and firmly established. He or she cannot be swayed from the straight path by the winds of trials, no matter how fierce the storm. Knowing and believing that there is no being worthy of worship except Allah, Glory be to Him, and following His commandments provides a believer with the stability and confidence he or she needs to succeed.

tumblr_ndablqjiYr1rhu2gao1_500-1.jpg

How do we feel when we cleanse our face with fresh, cold water after it was sullied by dust and filth? The joy we would feel thereby, that feeling is what thouba (repentance) gives to a believer.
When a believer cleanses his mind and life, which is blemished by the stain of sins, with the pure water of thouba, he would feel a delight beyond description. Constantly, Allah invites us to experience that delight.

tumblr_mu4us2GXHc1rhu2gao1_500-1.jpg

The importance of prayer is conveyed constantly in the Quran and was also stressed by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh): “Know that among your duties, prayer is foremost”.
The performance of prayer five times a day is considered vital to attain success in this life and the hereafter. Following the testimony of faith, performance of the prayers at their correct times and complete in bowings, prostrations and humility, will guarantee forgiveness from God and everlasting paradise. Muslims believe that the first matter that they will be brought to account for on the Day of Judgment is the prayer. If it is sound, then the rest of their deeds will be sound. And if it is bad, then the rest of his deeds will be bad.
Prayer provides a constant reminder of the essence of our creation and provides a direct connection to Allah, who linked success and felicity to humility in prayer. It emphasises the proximity between religion and daily life. Life, from an Islamic standpoint, is to be directed to Allah. Life is an opportunity for worship and the remembrance of Allah. Praying repeatedly throughout the day and interrupting the daily activities brings about the realization of this concept. The believer, through prayer, acquires a spiritual awareness that he takes with him throughout all of life’s endeavours.
Come to Prayer. Come to Success.
