Mashallah like some of the images, but one thing i want to ask a load of sisters dressed in a well manner and then in public a brother taking a picture why:?

i mean do you refer to your people as desi? I think all in SE Asia are desi (indians,pakis, sri lankans, bengalis, maybe afghans but they mostly pashtun and maybe persians)
 
no...sri lankans dont refer to themselves as desi..though techically sri lankans are included in the term...if i were to call a sri lankan desi..it would suggest that he is being very indian..

hmm interesting. I have come across some indians who think "desi" means indian only and not pakis as well. But just as arab means arab regardless of you being from palestine, saudi, egypt, uae, etc, and african means african regardless what country in the world and so too desi means desi for those from SE Asia, the brown people :)

hmmm...probably.. however..Sri Lankans are never referred to as desi..unless your in a foreign country and they couldnt tell the difference between the south asians

Ya Akhi thats why i was wondering why that brother were pictures of women in public. He should be lowering his gaze and then women actualy standing like models taking the pictures thats wrong indeed.
