Over the years-Sheikh Abdul Rahman has visited many countries stressing the importance of spreading Islam.
Europe and South Africa he has also visited, stressing the importance of promoting islam to the world.
At the end of August 2003, the people of England were honoured to be the hosts of Dr. Sudais. During his visit to Britain he led four Jumah prayers. On 31st August Sheikh Sudais was invited to give a lecture in Birmingham. the topic was -`And You will be Superior if you are indeed True Believers`. Whilst on tour Sheikh Sudais also opened a Muslim Girls school in Newcastle (sept 2003). On Tuesday 9th September Sheikh Sudais led the Fajr prayers in Jamia Masjid, Blackburn. He also led the Isha prayers for an 8000 strong congregation. Sudais promised to revisit this masjid when the current extension was complete. A day later prayers were led in the Jamia Masjid-Preston.There was a concregation on 4000 people. His message for the Muslim community was:
`I would like to say-as I make my way back, what a happy and enjoyable visit I have had and how much I have appreciated this honour and respect you have showed in taking care of me. I ask you all to be kind to your neighbours Non-muslims or Muslims as the Prophet SAW taught.`
He also visited London and was taken on a tour of the construction of the London Muslim centre (now complete-his reason for being here-2004) and was said to be `fascinated`. He expressed his satisfaction and assured his full support......`I carry to you from the Holy Land. The people of Makkah are praying for you because you are making great efforts to maintain your religion here in Britain.
In May 2004 he was unable to go to Canada with claims that he was too `anti-simetic`. This may be because of a very good khutbah he did on 6th Safar 1423. This Khutbah may be found on the Khutbahs page-under `Al-Aqsa is calling`. On this same day however the Imam of Masjid Nabawi-in Madinah did a similiar khutbah which was-Alhumdulillah just also a very good Khutbah.
May Allah SWT give him the ability to continue his efforts for the ummah.
Ameen.
