Brother's and sister's, if anyone has cable, my freind said that there is a Channel called S and S Channel where you can watch Sudais And Shuraim on tours to other places. He said that once it showed Sheikh Shuraim's house.

Sister - sorry it was just a general comment and I know you did not mean it like that. But the last time I went to an Asian wedding - astagfirullah I just had to leave! It was more like a fashion show - for a second I thought they were filming for a Bollywood movie!!!!

Oh yeah.. Abdullah I know what ya mean about not hearing the adhan and stuff..

Mashallah, but just think I have not been to the UK for about 9 months now - its gonna b well weird! (Although can't wait to see family and friends) The main thing I am gonna miss is the Fajr azan its just awesome when the azan wakes you up and then you go to the mosque and listen to the quran being recited by an arab - you can't beat it! (I actually have a funny story about this when I first came to Saudi but I will post in the embarrasing moments thread as it would be inappropriate here!)

Brother's and Sister's plz listen to this Salaat by Sheikh Budair. His recitation is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!http://www.muslimtents.com/iharam/S...204-18-2005.mp3

ALLAHHU AKBAR - what a voice subhanallah. When I was in Medina I even used to love listening to his "Staaaaaaaaaaaaaooooow - akeemo safoofa wa hazo wa baynan manakibay wa sudall khallal - wa atimus saffal awala fil awal" its just sooooooooooooooooooo cool and unique without a doubt the best! They dont do it in the UK mosques its gonna b well weird.

Please pray I get to perform Umrah and my family and I get back to the UK safely.

Wassalam
Br ABDULLAH
