yeah i was in Madinah and Salah Budair was leading fajr, reciting surah Yaseen! and Ya Allah, i cant describe iut. he was wailing, like he could not control it, literally!!! but that is the only thing i can recall but i know he cried a few more times also. i met him twice and he is soo beutiful Mashallah, like the Noor is flowing on his face! Shuraim: i listen to him a lot and when he cries he also loses it, Mashallah they have such Taqwa. Sudais's voice becomes very high when he is close to tears but he can control his crying. So basically Salah Budair and Shuraim cannot control their feelings, Mashallah!
Inshahallah May Allah guide us all to be like them. :brother:

Looks like we'll have to tell SST do recite the same again at fajr or isha! :p

Yups...it was Sheikh Shuraim. I only the 2nd rakah. Surah Baqarah innit. :D

insha allah you are all in good health
my favourite recitor is sheikh shuraim then sheikh salih and then sheikh sudais.
i have met sudais twice when he came to my school to lead magrib prayer in the uk.
a very nice man masha allah

has anyone got any idea how old sheikh shuraim, sheikh salih and sheikh sudais are?
also has anyone got any idea how big they are physically? becuase to me shuraim looks like he is about 6ft8"

Khaldun..next time please please pleaseeeeeeee record. you know from like sunday..all the times going to change so all salah times will be later.
fajr will be like 3 something instead of 2 something
jumah will be 10:30 instead of 9:30 (hour longer to sleep ;D )
etc etc etc
