Yeah mashallah beautiful and powerful recitation mashallah.

The Shaykhs health appears to be back to normal mashallah - not coughing anymore!

Well he just kept nudging him and looking at him but SST was trying his best not to look at SS! Anyway I remember even before traweeh SS was in a really funny mood and was joking around with everyone - there was this one guy - he normally stands in the second row he came up from behind and started pulling his ghuthra (thats just reminded me of another story) this guy angrily looked back and it was SS after which he was like

He was also joking with Aziz and Saleh (the 2 chaps who stand in the front row next to the old shaykh) - and was pulling salehs beard (I think he was saying come on its stopped growing pull it and it will grow!!!)

Another funny one was when we met (me and my son) SST for the first time - now he really loves kids and when he met my son he (like SAS) started kissing and cuddling him and saying mashallah whats his name etc.

Anyway we were talking in one of the rooms and the guards were playing with my son (remember we were all sat on the floor) so Im like talking to SST and my son who had started crawling was getting everywhere but I wasn't too worried cuz the guards were there and it was very quiet in the haram (cuz after Fajr people just go home).

So my son comes crawling up behind SST (who had taken of his bisht) and started pulling his ghuthra - he pulled it off and started putting it in his mouth and chewing it - SST was like laughing his head off cuz it had itr on it my son made a really silly face thinking this tastes a bit different to my normal food!!!!!!

Insha'Allah when he grows uo like a big kid, you tell him what he did with the imams. ;D

Wow, MAshallah, i love these Imams, my favorite is Shaykh Shuraim of Makkah. I jst love his recitation Mashallah.

I was on the way back from Birmingham yesterday, and it was isha time in Makkah and I looked at my watch and said.. ooooh isha time :D .
..beleive it or not.. 2 seconds later, I heard SAS recitation and I was like :omg: where is this coming from?! :omg:
..and then I realised it was the radio and I was like whoa! Totally cool man! :shade:
..and then after SAS adhan went off and then SAS was played back this time Surah Taha and I was like.. :shade: cool. (I didn't know what the Surah he was reciting before the adhan) :sister:

So I didn't miss anyting! ;)

btw.. who led fajr?

I have a feeling SST might come and start leading fajr. :zip:

To be honest this is news to me - I too wanna know more (I will however ask my Saudi friends see if they now)!

He has a book of his. Called 'The virtues of Imaan' .
From a bookstore in Birmingham called Darussalam.
