I used to dream of there being a category such as this (creative writing) and now there is one! yayyy!
So here's another poem. It's called Immortal. Loaded with irony and weirdness.

Immortal​

​

I’m deafened by your silence,​

Dazed by all the years,​

Numbed by your violence,​

And smothered by the tears.​

​

I’m looking for the key,​

But I won’t find it here,​

These chains no longer threaten me,​

And your eyes won’t cause me fear.​

​

You’ve broke my heart into pieces,​

And you strive to shatter my bones,​

You’ve shown me your evil faces,​

And lead me through deadly zones.​

​

And even though we got along,​

You shot my heart with a sole bullet​

But I’m standing right where I belong,​

And a petite bullet won’t end my spirit.​

​

I’d wish I hadn’t picked up the pen,​

But I wrote and I saw, the pictures of hell,​

With you, I know that’s where I’ve been,​

And with you, here is my farewell.​
