Impressions of Islam - for Non-Muslims only!

I have been wondering lately about all you lot (non-Muslims)' impression of Islam before and after you joined this forum - has joining this forum changed your view of Islam at all?

i already knew some about islam and thought it was basically a peaceful religion before i joined. my opinion since joining the forum hasn't changed, though i have learned a lot here and have gained more respect for it, the more i've learned.
 
My view hasn't really changed though I have learned a lot from this forum. As with any religion, people can take parts to justify their actions, peaceful or violent.
