In Life.
In life, people can let you down;
Won’t be there when you’re left to drown.
In life people can smile and make promises;
But you learn their denies when you’re in a crisis.
In life people will take your hand and tell you to trust them;
But when you can’t carry no more, and you need support;
Looking around in despair, you see no resort.
In life people lie, people die;
You’re left alone, and can only cry.
In life people want, but never give;
The demand too much- you don’t want to live.
In life people play games and hide behind masks;
Lost in confusion, you don’t know where to begin to ask.
In life you learn that living is rough;
Everything that approaches you is tough-
That’s why I need Allah so much,
Because in life…There’s nothing as such.
