I don't think I said anywhere that it wasn't forbidden, but there is something that I want to make sure you understand. Being homosexual, as in feeling sexual attraction to the same gender, is not forbidden. Too many Muslims do not understand this. Also, typically when the subject of homosexuality comes up, it's not in the context of Muslim communities, so it's not Muslims we're talking about. Non Muslims are not required to follow our rules. Even with this in mind though, people like you who come at these people with hate and intolerance aren't making a very good case for your position, and in extreme cases your hate blinds you so much that you stop seeing them as human beings. I hope you don't need me to explain to you why this kind of hatred is bad.

Regarding the other things, let me give you an example.

They are making it look like its a way of life, something normal, something acceptable and any evil starts small, and who's to say our kids are going to be afflicted with the disease, aren't they already?

If someone practices it in front of your daughter, and says its ok, say its their way of life, would you still keep quiet?

This is unforutnately the sad state of the modern Muslims. Sadly the Prophet (SalAllahu Alayhi Wa Salaam) prophecied this.

It is normal and acceptable here in our culture, and becoming more so all the time. If you don't like that, then don't go to the west. Pretty simple I'd think. Why would you think you should come here and then complain that our culture offends you? That would be like me going to Saudi Arabia and complaining about the Quran recitations and people praying all the time.

I think you should be respectful, yes. The same way that I would be respectful if someone prays in front of my daughter. You can later quietly explain to her why you believe what they were doing was wrong.

Also, when you think your ideology or religion tells you to hate others, I think you should re-examine it.

My religion doesn't tell me to hate others - yes it teaches to hate the sin - you won't understand this because you have nothing to live by and nothing to die for.

And as far as I know, homosexuality is forbidden even in Christianity.

Well, Mr.Muslim here has made his position pretty clear. Hopefully all those who come across this thread can get a good idea of how far off his views are to most people's.

Also, "The kufr" isn't a group of people, just so you know.

Mr. Muslim doesn't care if his views aren't in accordance with most people's - just concerned if his views are in accordance with what Allah commands in the Quran.

I've met his kind before in other forums, they just say the opposite of what you are saying all the time so that you come to a stage where you get annoyed and lose the plot. I think he's just playing the 'devil's advocate'.

It seems this thread is no longer a discussion and becoming a war zone, so it's best if it was closed. Let us remember that insulting each other is not the way to discuss an issue, and making inappropriate or unhelpful comments does not serve any good purpose.

Pygoscelis, having faith and submission to God is something that people often struggle to understand. But this position should not be misrepresented by descriptions of struggling to think for oneself or flying planes into buildings. This is an insult to portray it in this distorted way. Let us not forget that those who pride themselves in being free-thinkers and enforce their views of democracy across the world are the very same who continue to propagate hate and disregard human rights in some of the worst ways imaginable.
