It is estimated that Pakistan is experiencing its biggest mass movement of people since the formation of the country itself in 1947
triggered waves of migrations.
1.3 million people have fled the fighting in the volatile region, and there are fears that this number could rise to more than 2 million,
these people have been forced to leave their homes, livelihoods,
and any personal security they may have had. They have their faith, and they are no doubt praying for help.
In a highly volatile region where very few trust outsiders, Islamic Relief is on the ground and has been providing aid to those who need it.
There is an ongoing need for food, shelter, and medical services.
Islamic Relief Goodwill Ambassador, Shahid Afridi will be partnered by his 20/20 Pakistan World Cup winning captain, Younus Khan,
on their only tour of the UK this year to raise much needed funds for the region.
The Tour also takes place in Birmingham, on 17 th, London on 18th, Cardiff on 20th, Leceister on 21st!!!!
