Is it allowed to be single forever?

I don't like girls. They cause me too much trouble. I don't even like the fitan they cause me in public anymore.

I can't get married at the moment because I'm a student, I have mental disabilities and reliant on my mother, and I have no job, share a car with my brother, and have no driver's license despite being 19. Although I am working with vocational assistance to get a job and license. But my mom said if I leave school I'm out of her house. And I have about 3 years left due to falling behind.

Marriage is a Sunnah which every Muslim should strive for.

Having said that, it is a Sunnah which comes with obligations. Once you are married, you have obligations.

You have to feed your wife. You have to clothe her. You have to provide her with a place to live.

These are your obligations. If you do not fulfill them, you will get sin.

Hence, before you marry, you must make a commitment with yourself that you will fulfill your wife's obligations.

If you cannot do this, then you may want to remain single until you think you are ready.

However, if you choose to remain single you must not look at females. You must not indulge in the secret habit. You must not flirt with girls.

And if you choose to remain single, you need to fast to help yourself lower your gaze.

You cannot say I will not get married and then indulge in the sins which marriage is there to protect you from.

The Prophet said: "Whoever ca afford to marry, let him marry". Also, Quran encourages us to gt married becuase it is blessing. If you cant get married due to fnancial or health problems, then this can be acceptible for you not to marry.

When the boys reach puberty age they begin to have special feeling on female and begin to feel desire to have spouse. But then many of them see behaviour of some girls who look infatuated to the cool-handsome-rich boy, but look down on the boys who are not in this category. It makes some boys lose their confidence to have spouse in the future. They think, there will be no any girl who willing to be their life-partner. They begin to see the girls as arrogant creature, and then convince themselves with "I don't need girl, I don't want to get married".

It common happen among teen boys.

But then after those boys growing adult and start to mature in mindset, they begin to see the women differently, and then begin to feel desire to have spouse. So they start to seek a wife and get married.

This is a common story of the men. There are many men who have life story like this.

In Shaa Allah, in the next few years after the young brother SintoDinto have grown as adult with mature mindset, he will change his mind. And may Allah give him a pious woman as his wife.

Don't worry time will change you. Now work hard on study to make your future bright.

I cannot fast because my psychiatrist suggested I not fast due to taking multiple medications which would mess up my bodily chemistry if I fasted, and because I am getting off of a pill slowly, so it is especially unhealthy, and my mother does not let me fast.
