Is it haram to major in political science and work as an intelligence analyst or policy analyst or advise politicians in the West?

Well, if you want to be a political analysist, you have to be neutral and unbiased. No likes or dislikes among the politicians. No erdoganist-hate in your case. ;D

LOL but aren't political analysts allowed to have opinions? after all they give opinions/advice to politicians...if not i could work for a think tank or a university, or a non profit that specializes in erdogan-and-other-dictator-hate ;D

There is difference between political analyst and politician advisor. If you were political analyst you had to stand on the neutral side. But if you stood with a politician and gave political advice for this politician, then you were a politician advisor.
