Is there a minimum amount of verses in standing salah from long surahs?

also known as qiyam? i was under the impression there was a minimum number of verses to be read if it was a long surah after al fatiha. because i just memorized the first ten verses of surat al kahf and i want to practice, especially today at juma.

Minimum 3 verses should be recited in a raka of salah, because the shortest chapter comprises 3 verses
