Is there good in leisure

What I mean is if there is a benefit from a leisure activity like planning a holiday with family which would give you some quality time and knowledge of the world would it be considered a good deed?
Or perhaps entertaining another person which is mubah but if there is a good intention with it, would it be counted as a good deed?

Maintaining kinship and showing love and interest in family members is an act of worship. If one goes on holiday with this intention as well as wanting to explore the wonders of this world to get closer to Allah swt then insha Allah one will be rewarded.

Depends on what kind of entertainment....Research what is halaal entertainment insha Allah.
