To create a grave and put a blanket or something soft there so you can go inside and read Quran and reflect about death. I read we should think about death often. I just remember seeing on the net someone who created a grave and was there maybe reading the Quran. I think it's for the purpose of preparing for the hereafter and to think about death.

Muraqba (meditation) is an old practice of zahideen. What you suggest is praiseworthy as it detaches you from mundane and makes you closer to Allah :swt:

-Is it acceptable in Islam to pray and recite Quran by standing in front of the grave for parents and the deceased? Asking Allah to forgive their sins and ask for Jannah?

Reciting Quran and conveying the reward to the deceased parents

Abu Huraira (ra) reported Allah's Messenger (pbuh) as saying: “When a man dies, his acts come to an end, but three, recurring charity, or knowledge (by which people) benefit, or a pious son, who prays for him (for the deceased)”. (Muslim)

Ibn Adiyy (ra) narrated a hadith from Abu Bakr (ra) that:

“Whoever visits the grave of his father and mother or the grave of one of both on Friday and recites surah al Yasin there, Allah (swt) will forgive the owner of the grave.”

Tabarani and Bayhaqi narrated from Ibn Omar (ra):
