After eating my friends and I play rock paper scissors. Whoever loses has to take up all the trash and throw it away. And it doesn't matter how many trays you have, if you win then somebody else has to throw them away for you

No I dont think its gambling as there is no money involved.

the Prophet (pbuh) used to pull arrows to decide which wife to take with him : )

but taking out the trash i believe would be more fair through consultation,
they not only feel like a loser for losing rock paper scissors - but then for having to take the trash out, must be depressing.
some joint tenants have a rota on the door.
