Anyone heard of Haikus? A form of Japanese short poetry, has a few rules:
3-short lines
1-season word (can be subtle)
1-cutting word (a break in the 2nd or 3rd line - a pause, hyphen, dash, exclamation etc).
no rhyme or metaphor
17 syllables - (5-7-5)
Some rules of Haiku are broken in modern usage but the 3 lines and 17 syllables (in 5-7-5 form) cannot be broken.
Example:
I love Al-Ameen
He was the last messenger
Teaching us our Deen
-By me
Give it a try...though try to keep it islamic
hope this works out
